New guest mix from @taa.tuu.swe

TAA TUU SWÉ moves fluidly between eras, blending the pulse of house music with a genre-fluid approach as a DJ, producer, and local radio host. Playing RVA venues since 2012, he has recently played the Movement Festival Pre-Party at LOSO and hosted his WavvyWednesdays pop-up at CNTR. TAA TUU also hosts biweekly show, HOUSE OF SWÉ, on WRIR Richmond. His sound has been described as “ethereal,” “energetic,” “retro,” “futuristic,” and “multicultural, but very black.” SWÉ aims to preserve house music history and uplift underground Black talent of today and yesterday. He continues playing shows across Richmond while developing his own music productions for future release.

Launching in 2021 & hosting artists such as KC Wray, Stimulator Jones, DJ Aakmael, Sam Park, & Black Techno Matters - Haus Boat is a back on the James River, Friday August 7th with Anomalis Radio DJs Burl Faircloth, Don Chirashi, plus a very special guest (TBA)

Accommodations onboard include a bar & bathroom, comfortably allowing up to 40 guests with a mixture of standing room and cocktail tables & chairs. The show is 21 & up so please be prepared to provide ID upon arrival. No outside alcohol. No firearms or weapons of any kind. Any disrespectful, unkind, or unwanted behavior will not be tolerated - if you experience anything that makes you feel unsafe - please tell the bartender immediately and she will assist you.

Boarding begins at 5:45 and the boat will depart by 6:05 so be there promptly! Parking can be difficult in the area so please allow ~5 minutes walking time. Directions to the dock location & contact information will be sent out to guests a week prior to the event. Please email anomalisradio@gmail.com if you have any questions.

A lot’s happened since the maiden voyage of Haus Boat in 2021 (full set on YouTube btw) we’ve outgrown the canals & leveled up to a 40-person pontoon, complete with a bar & bathroom on board 👏👏 departing from Rocketts Landing & cruising down the James for 3 hours of House Music, beautiful views, & stellar vibes. New guest mix! 📡📡📡 Hoppa is a Washington D.C.-based DJ with a “less is more” mindset, curating minimal, groove-driven sets designed to draw dancers into a deeper, more immersive headspace.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic scenes of Berlin and Amsterdam—as well as the underground movements of NYC, LA, and his home city of DC—Hoppa channels a global perspective into his sound. Years spent absorbing these influential scenes have shaped a unique musical vision: one focused on subtle progression, raw energy, and atmosphere. Hoppa has shared the stage with the likes of Maxx Rassi, DJ Dextro, Ana Rs, Alinka, and Tal Fussman. As a founder of Therapy Sounds and resident for Undertone, he has leveraged his taste to promote and express the true underground movements of both disciplines.

Whether house or techno, Hoppa’s sets resonate across dance floors, connecting with both seasoned heads and newcomers alike. Whether opening or closing, he invites listeners to close their eyes, let go, and lose themselves in the moment

Beyond thrilled to be introducing our next guest, Echo Juliet and this killer mix she cooked up- using her first love of percussion as the defining element of her sound. The DJ and producer swapped her classical music degree for Ableton and decks.
A friendly, yet formidable force, her DJ sets journey through deep house, percussion-filled global electronic, and warm sounds which have seen her open for Bradley Zero, Tom VR, Nightmares on Wax, The Orb, Jeremy Sylvester and more.
Receiving comparisons to Four Tet and Bonobo, her colourful productions dwell on the fringes of club music, leaning towards the leftfield. From high energy excitement to dreamy textures, she draws influence from broken-beat, deep house and classical percussion.
Recently named one of DJ Mag’s emerging artists to watch, her releases have also been featured in Bandcamp’s Best Electronic list, played in legendary clubs such as Fabric, and supported by DJs including Axel Boman, Seb Wildblood, and BBC 6Music tastemakers Gilles Peterson, Nemone and Tom Ravenscroft. She has also featured on a compilation alongside electronic icons 808 State, and been remixed by Gold Panda.
Radio credits have seen her guest hosting on NTS and mixes for Rinse FM and The Face Radio in New York, as well as hosting a radio series for promoter Soundcrash. Meanwhile, DJing has taken her from noted South-London party Rhythm Section and residencies for The Standard and Variations, to SXSW in Austin, We Out Here festival’s second stage and playing to over 3,000 people at Dreamland Margate.
Committed to creating a more inclusive music scene, she founded Future Proof for Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section label, has taught music production to women and non-binary folks for Saffron and is a director of DJ community Selextorhood.

Chouaib Nadif, from Eljadida, Morocco - has been behind the decks since 2019 spinning variations of deep/afro/oriental house + melodic house & techno. Quickly developing his skills & bringing his own style to the scene, DJ Chouaib Nadif has played Burning woman 2023 and many private parties. His sets are heard internationally on a number of radio stations and shows including Turkey’s Radio Raccoon and Mayday Records, Italy’s Radio Thor Italia and Top Class Radio; and Argentina’s By Under Blue Radio.

New guest mix from Slime Corp. - the duo project of DMV based artists, Dhananjaya and Rhizo. Both have a strong passion for many genres but set out to create a collaborative project focused around psychedelic grooves, progressive melodies, and four to the floor beats. After a couple of B2B shows, the duo officially debuted the project in Richmond early 2026.
