As we get ready for Saturday night football, the Office of Alumni Engagement is excited to highlight two alumni-owned businesses that will be joining us at the game!

Daniel “Smilez” King ’15 | Smilezthabarber
A former Livingstone track and cross-country athlete, Daniel earned his degree in Criminal Justice in 2015. Today, he’s a Master Barber and entrepreneur behind @smilezthabarber , combining his love for grooming, style and entrepreneurship. Stop by his table to shop his hats and apparel — and take advantage of his game-day special: 2 hats for $50!

Steven Ardrey Jr. ’24 | Anota Based
Steven’s journey with @anotasobased started right here at Livingstone! While at LC, he participated in fashion shows and was initiated into the Gamma Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in Spring 2024. Since 2022, he’s continued building Anota Based and creating one-of-one pieces that bring together fashion, art and individuality. 🎨

Steven will also have a game-day special: 2 items for $50!

We love seeing what our alumni are building beyond Livingstone, and we’re even more excited to give them space to come back and share it with the LC family. 🩵
