There is a strangeness to how things in this line of work sometimes take months to see the light of day. In this case both cruel and beautiful, as the campaign for the Atelier Munro Spring/Summer 2026 Signature Collection was released only a few weeks after Joachimā€™s passing. His photographic style is something that feels so familiar to me that it also offers some kind of closeness to him. And therefore it also feels like the right moment to share some of my personal favorites. In his signature way, seeing past whatā€™s right in front of the lens. Always finding the most beautiful corner, light or shadow. Moments of beauty most people walk past. All images by Joachim and creative direction by us both. by @another.everything

It is with the deepest of sadness that I have to announce that Another has returned from ā€œweā€ to ā€œI.ā€ Early this morning, my dear friend, mentor and creative soulmate Joachim passed away.Joachim started Another in 2007 as his personal creative outlet, in the midst of the blogosphere. I joined him as an intern in 2012 and basically always stayed by his side in different capacities. Learning about ā€œcreativeā€ work. And learning that you are never too old to learn, because, as he used to say, he ā€œdidnā€™t know anything himself, either.ā€He imprinted in me the belief that creativity is about making choices based on finding your own take on beauty, wherever you are. And that being distinctive comes from personal taste, rather than giving in to what is expected or what others might think.Through this shared fundamental belief, I felt in my gut that I had found my natural place next to him: as a second pair of brains and eyes, the conceptual thinker and the words to his elegant graphics and photographic captions. Over the years, this resulted in client work, in-house work and numerous side projects that we co-created. And eventually in our shared brand consultancy, which we started at the end of 2024.I canā€™t imagine a (creative) life without him. But here it is anyway. All I can try to do now is keep up the pace Joachim taught me (or lovingly forced my doubtful self into). To keep chasing beauty and interesting ideas wherever I am. To keep carrying the Another flag.As he will surely be planting a new Another project wherever he is now: beginning a new side project, rushing toward new loving encounters and making the world around him a little more beautiful.I will miss him for the rest of my life.Christoph by @another.everything

Another x de dam foundation x Lennard Kokpresent ā€œDe Polderā€A collaboration about noticing the subtle poetry of a Dutch landscape that demands patience. In the project, the polder became both subject and stage: outspoken yet quiet, strict yet beautiful. A quintessentially Dutch invention revealed in all its restraint and all its force.After last Mondayā€™s final day of @dedamfoundationā€™s pop-up in Amsterdam, ā€œDe Polderā€ will be presented once more in Paris during PFW, in the de dam foundation showroom, at the end of January 2026.The coat and cap are also available to order now at dedamfoundation.com.Photography by @joachimbaan by @another.everything

A closer look at the trench coat and cap. Two collaborative pieces by @another.something, @dedamfoundation and @bylennardkok, inspired by the wide, open fields of the Dutch polder. The coat is crafted from Japanese cotton gabardine with a water-resistant finish on the outside and lined with Japanese cupro on the inside. Each piece features buffalo horn buttons sourced from Germany, hand-painted labels by @bylennardkok, and fully hand-stitched details throughout. Produced exclusively in small quantities and manufactured in South Korea.After debuting last weekend at @juki.amsterdam, the pieces are showcased at the @dedamfoundation pop-up on Prinsengracht 234 starting today, and later in Paris during PFW this January. Another x de dam foundation x Lennard Kokpresent ā€œDe Polderā€As the first collaboration between the three of us; Another, the cultural platform and brand consultancy; de dam foundation, the garment maker; and Lennard Kok, the artist and illustrator, we studied the polder and translated it into garments, drawings and film. The most prominent result is a trench coat and a cap. Both quiet. Both exact. Both built to stand in the wind without complaint.The coat is unmistakably a de dam foundation signature piece, made in founder and creative director John Roā€™s country of birth, South Korea. Crafted from an extraordinary dark khaki Japanese cotton gabardine, it carries a subtle red hue woven through the fabric. Its oversized silhouette is completed by a signature high-neck collar, built for extra protection against Dutch rain. The six-panel cap follows the same principle: medium-weight double-ply cotton, a clean silhouette, nothing unnecessary. Inside the coat, the oversized label features a single hand-drawn image by Lennard Kok, a lone figure in deep shadow walking (below sea level) through the polder. Inside the cap, a smaller drawing waits like a quiet secret beneath the surface.The campaign was shot in the place that sparked the first inspiration for the project: the Eemnes polder. Belgian actor Mistral Guidotti takes the role of the lone walker, moving steadily across the reclaimed land. The film by @milanvandril extends the atmosphere of Lennardā€™s drawing into motion. Joachim photographed the series, capturing the calm severity of the place. Music by @de_rivier keeps it moving, a haunting guitar-driven score that seems to push the walker forward.The collaboration is about seeing the subtle poetry of a Dutch landscape that demands patience. The polder is both subject and stage, outspoken and quiet, strict and beautiful, a famously Dutch invention shown in all its restraint and all its force.Tomorrow and the day after the project is still on display at @juki.amsterdam: Eerste Jan van der Heijdenstraat 103B, Amsterdam.The coat and cap are now available to order online too, via @dedamfoundationā€™s webstore. by @another.everything
