Derby, WA

A quick little stop to fill the tanks back up and run the aircon all night long before continuing on our way to see the fam we’ve been missing so much.

Derby adventures consisted mostly of washing and begging the kids to get out of the pool but other activities included:

• Checking out the Sculptures on the Marsh
• Fishing and croc spotting off the jetty
• Visited the kids school for the very first time
• Checking out the famous Prison Tree taken in Derby, Western Australia by @another_one_lappin

On July 31st, we were faced with the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to the most opinionated, lovable, feisty little lady with the biggest heart.. if you were lucky enough to be in her circle.

Daisy may have been small, but she more than made up for it with the biggest personality. No bird, present, bin bag, or unattended food was ever safe if Daisy was around. She spent her whole life either at my feet or curled up in my arms, with the rest of us completely wrapped around her chubby little paws. Now our home on wheels feels so empty without her, and the tears just keep coming.

So here’s to our beautiful old girl, Daisy. Fifteen years of giving love, being so deeply loved, and being there through every big milestone in our lives. I just hope you knew how much you meant to us and how incredibly loved you were.

It just goes to show that words are never needed to become a best friend. Love you always and miss you endlessly, Diz. ❤️ taken in Darwin, Northern Territory by @another_one_lappin

Base Camp Dundee.. 📍

They’ve definitely gotten a lot more inventive up here in the Top End when it comes to cooling off, especially when the ocean is full of ancient apex predators that would happily chomp you up in a matter of seconds. 🐊 taken in Base Camp at dundee by @another_one_lappin
