As the USS Abraham Lincoln made her way back into San Diego Bay, ships around the harbor began sounding their horns, including the USS Midway, welcoming her home. 🇺🇸⚓️ Hearing those horns echo across the bay while watching the Lincoln return genuinely made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. What an incredible San Diego moment. Welcome home, USS Abraham Lincoln. 🇺🇸 #USSAbrahamLincoln #USNavy #SanDiego #SanDiegoBay #WelcomeHome by @anothersidetours
What an incredible moment to witness on San Diego Bay. 🇺🇸 The USS Abraham Lincoln makes her way home as sailors in their dress whites line the flight deck, tugboats escort her through the bay, and an American flag flies proudly alongside her. After 321 days away, seeing this massive aircraft carrier coming home and knowing families are waiting on shore makes this one hit differently. Welcome home, USS Abraham Lincoln. And welcome home to her sailors. 🇺🇸❤️⚓️ #USSAbrahamLincoln #USNavy #SanDiego #WelcomeHome #SanDiegoBay by @anothersidetours
This is the sad side of La Jolla Cove that people need to understand. These sea lions aren’t here for our selfies. This is a pupping area, where mothers are nursing, bonding with, and protecting their babies. When people crowd them, chase them, or try to touch the pups, it can put those babies in real danger. A ranger had to warn people again today to stay back and give these animals space. Please admire them from a distance. Take the photo from behind the rope. Let the moms raise their babies in peace. Beautiful wildlife deserves respect. #LaJolla #SanDiego #SeaLions #WildlifeTok #OceanConservation by @anothersidetours
Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas is back in San Diego for its regular Sunday port call! 🚢 Tonight, these lucky passengers head out for seven nights to Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlán. We got a little rain last night and the clouds are still hanging around, but San Diego is headed for a beautiful week. ☀️🌴 And while they’re sailing away, we’ll still be right here showing off America’s Finest City. Come explore San Diego with us! ❤️ #SanDiego #VisitSanDiego #CruiseShip #SanDiegoTours #RoyalCaribbean by @anothersidetours

Only in La Jolla do you cruise past a beautiful wedding setup while some serious waves are rolling in! 🌊💍 We spotted this at Windansea Beach just as the sprinkles started and the surf was picking up. Hopefully they got everything set before the rain! This is why we love showing people around San Diego. You never know what you’re going to see. Would you risk a beach wedding with weather like this? #LaJolla #WindanseaBeach #SanDiego #VisitSanDiego #CaliforniaCoast by @anothersidetours
One of San Diego’s little coastal gems. 🌊🌴 We’re at Calumet Park in Bird Rock, tucked between Pacific Beach and La Jolla. Ocean views, surfers, paddle boarders, and 70 degrees even with the rain on the way. Sometimes the best parts of San Diego are the places you weren’t looking for. #SanDiego #LaJolla #BirdRock #VisitSanDiego #CaliforniaCoast by @anothersidetours
In San Diego for a conference? This is how you take a break from the Convention Center! Three guests visiting from the DC area traded conference rooms for Segways and cruised along the Marriott Marquis Marina and beautiful San Diego Bay. Because you can talk cardiovascular therapeutics all day, but sometimes you just need a little fresh air, sunshine and adventure. 😎 Stop scrolling, start living. #SanDiego #SanDiegoTours #SegwayTour #SanDiegoBay #VisitSanDiego by @anothersidetours
San Diego showing off on Halloween morning! 🎃 Runners along the Embarcadero, superyachts sitting on Billionaires’ Row, and San Diego Bay looking incredibly calm before the storm rolls in. Sometimes the best part of San Diego is simply getting outside and seeing what’s happening along the waterfront. Follow for the hidden gems. Book for the adventures. There are some views that never get old. 🌅 Watching the paragliders float above the Pacific as the sun goes down at the Torrey Pines Gliderport is one of those unforgettable San Diego moments. This is why we love showing people another side of San Diego. 💛 Follow for the gems. Book for the adventures. #TorreyPines #LaJolla #SanDiego #VisitSanDiego #CaliforniaSunset by @anothersidetours
San Diego Zoo Parking Is Staying at $16 🅿️🦁 Big parking news in Balboa Park. Starting January 1, 2027, parking in the other Balboa Park lots will be free, but the San Diego Zoo plans to continue charging $16 per day in its lot. That raises an interesting question. Will more Zoo visitors start parking for free elsewhere in Balboa Park, making it harder for people visiting the museums and other attractions to find a spot? What do you think? Would you pay the $16 for convenience or park elsewhere for free? #SanDiego #BalboaPark #SanDiegoZoo #SanDiegoNews #ThingsToDoInSanDiego by @anothersidetours
