Seulement une semaine après mon arrivée aux Émirats, j’ai eu la bonne surprise d’être recontactée par @thetalent_agency pour dessiner en live lors d’un événement privé @chanel.beauty à Dubai, aux côtés de l’artiste événementiel @dianaart.ru .

Chaque portrait, réalisé en seulement 6 à 7 minutes à l’aquarelle et à l’encre, a capturé l’élégance et l’unicité de chaque invité. ✨

Le live sketching transforme un instant en un souvenir intemporel, offrant aux invités une expérience ultra personnalisée et un cadeau exclusif qu’ils emportent avec eux.

Just one week after arriving in the UAE, I had the good surprise of being invited back by @thetalent_agency to live sketch at a private Chanel event in Dubai alongside event artist Diana.

Each portrait, created in just 6 to 7 minutes using watercolor and ink, beautifully captured the elegance and uniqueness of every guest. ✨

Kinda chic to call this my job 🤭🎨✨

For those of you who are new here, Bonjour! I am Anouck Gilly, a french fashion & live event illustrator based in Paris.

I create live watercolor portraits and bespoke illustrations during luxury events, turning guests, outfits and moments into artworks they can take home with them.

Over the past year, this dream of making a living from my art has taken me to some pretty incredible places, from drawing for luxury houses such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Chopard and Miu miu, to live sketching during fashion shows, travelling internationally for events and working inside some of the most beautiful venues.

Most of my illustrations are created live, in just a few minutes, right in front of the guests and that mix of fashion, art, people and beautiful places is probably what I love most about my job.

still feels a little surreal sometimes.

Dessiner des inconnus par surprise pendant la Fashion Week ? ✍️✨

C’est la mission que s’est donnée @anouck.gilly , illustratrice de mode. En 4 minutes chrono, cette artiste autodidacte capture l’essence d’une silhouette à l’aide de sa palette, de son coup de crayon et de son talent. En guise de cadeau, chaque personne dessinée repart avec un souvenir inoubliable.

Cette semaine, Volum l’a suivie en marge d’un défilé de mode pour découvrir au plus près son activité. Coup de cœur validé !

The day before its Fashion Week show, Balmain invited me to sketch their clients live as they tried on their looks in their boutique Rue Saint Honoré.

Some knew they were being drawn and even stopped to pose for me. Others had no idea they were being sketched, until I revealed the finished illustration.

Je suis Anouck Gilly, artiste peintre à l’aquarelle et illustratrice événementielle basée à Paris. Every time a client asks me « how many guests can you draw in 3 hours », I reply it depends on the flow of people, the complexity of the outfits, the conversations I have with the guests but in general, I can draw up to 25 people in 3 hours. I set myself a real time challenge (I even have a timer while I draw!) without lowering the level of detail I bring to every luxury activation.

This is the pace I bring to every event: fast enough to get through a full guest list, precise enough that each piece still feels like a keepsake.
