so glad to have been a part of the first exhibiton of @nita.spazio aaAAh, showing my piece « la bouche et l’orifice »

this piece started with my obsession with a photo of my brother that I took during a car ride when I was 10 years old

« The open mouth is a recurring symbol in Anouk’swork. It is like a living threshold marking a passage between the intimate body and the outside world. Between silence and speech, between a raw cry and articulate discourse. Simultaneously an organ of communication, expression, respiration, and ingestion, it is a shifting boundary, a permeable frontier. It is a place of transformation that allows one to speak out, to assert one’s existence, to express pain, and to vent it through a cry. It enables ingestion, digestion, and sensuality, but also refusal, spitting, and the refusal to swallow anything at all.
The photograph is screen-printed and then coated with latex as a protective, epidermal layer.
The speculum prompts this reflection on the reflection on the orifice and penetration. Death and sex share the same bodily openings - the orifice before penetration. The open mouth before death. The acronym for the word « uterus » is « suture ». Open wound. In the context pf aaAAh, the mouth of Anouk’brother gives life to the onomatopeic title of the exhibition. We do not hear the sound, but see it on its way out. »

Retour en images sur le travail d’Anouk Laplace, présenté lors de son diplôme DNSEP le 29.05.2026 👏👏👏

Anouk Laplace vit et travaille en île de France.

Dans un geste de collection d’images de corps, Anouk tente de trouver les rythmes, les respirations, les creux et les tensions qui habitent son corps. Comprendre son corps c’est peut être accepter qu’il se dérobe, qu’il se compose dans le creux des absences autant que dans la lumière crue de ce qui est montré. Elle utilise l’assemblage, le montage, le télescopage pour faire surgir l’indicible, faire que l’image devienne chair et la chair langage.
