Back in January, @ansgelato dropped a matcha menu that sent San Diego into a full-blown frenzy 🍵 Now the shop voted America’s #1 ice cream spot two years running is bringing matcha season back, with seven brand-new flavors plus two returning favorites spread across four locations. It all starts with the matcha, sourced from Paru Tea in La Jolla, the specialty tea house known for milling its own matcha on a traditional stone mill from Kyoto. Around it: organic bananas, from-scratch baked goods, black sesame, and milk from locally owned Hollandia Dairy. The timing is right, too.
