Romans 6:3-4
“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”

On February 17, 2025, I took the next step of my journey in faith through baptism. Thank you to everyone who has supported me in my walk with Christ! I look forward to the road ahead! by @anson.aroz

@anson.aroz path to professional baseball hasn’t exactly been a straight line. The Auburn, California native went from being one of the top catching prospects in the country at Placer High, to an injury-shortened freshman season at Oregon, to spending much of his college career as a part-time player and, eventually, a breakout season mostly playing left field. Then the Dodgers called his name in the 19th round of the 2025 MLB Draft (I vividly remember yelling to no one when his name was called). A year later, he headed to the Arizona Fall League. Not bad for the 585th pick in the draft. by @anson.aroz
