POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey, howdy, hello! Thought I’d do a little reintroduction…🤠

I’m Anson, an architecture and design photographer based in Oklahoma. 📷

I’ve always been drawn to beautiful spaces, thoughtful design, clean lines, and good light. With an interior designer mom and an artist-architect dad, I suppose it was inevitable.

These days, I photograph the spaces people pour their creativity into and spend the rest of my time with my family (who is everything to me).

If you’re looking for someone to capture your architectural project or interior design work, check out my website or shoot me a DM. Even if you don’t have a project in mind now, say what’s up anyway. I’m a chatty guy, it’ll be fine.

Thanks for being here and supporting my work. Means a lot. 🤙🏽

It’s been a year.

Going through a lot and still trying to navigate it. Getting older, my health, my career, my family..Learning to be thankful for things slowing down. Allowing me to take a minute and be intentional to realize that the things that I prayed for growing up, are part of my life now. Constantly asking God to reveal Himself to me and give me direction.

It’s easy to feel like you are doing so many things “wrong” but when you stop and really think about life..it’s just good to know you’re still in it.

I heard someone in a video recently say “life has contact in it, but it’s just that: CONTACT. Maybe you used to play football, and you used to run straight into guys that were way bigger than you. But then you got back up, and did it again. It was just CONTACT. You’re still going even now, but maybe you just forgot that that kid was still inside you somewhere, buried. Life still has contact in it. But we can keep going.”

Just want to encourage you if you ever feel this! Keep going! You’re still doing it! You’ve made it through some tough crap. But today is a new day and God has given you the strength to get through today. He loves you, and He’s proud of you.

And I’m proud of you and me too by @ansonkwilson

I have the most meaningful Christmas gift idea for you. 🎁🎄

This year, I’m offering something I’m calling Legacy Films — thoughtfully crafted films that preserve the stories, voices, and memories of the people you love most for generations to come.

It’s something I wish I’d done with my own grandparents, and an idea my sister-in-law has been encouraging me to pursue for years. Because some stories are too important to lose.

THE DETAILS
Through sit-down interviews and moments from everyday life, I’ll create a film your family can treasure forever.

WHO IS IT FOR?
- Parents or grandparents
- Someone whose story you admire
- Your entire family, as a keepsake for generations

I’m opening a LIMITED number of spots with films delivered in time for Christmas gifting! Send me a message for more details or check out the link in my bio by @ansonkwilson

Shot a cozy NE coast house a couple weeks ago. Is it crazier that it’s here in Oklahoma or that it’s for sale?? Would you buy it?

Straight on shots can be cringey..but like a moth to a flame, I went for it.

This home was featured in the @paradeofhomesok and was a stunner. New builds like these are almost always beautiful, but you need a good team to bring a vacant home to life.

What an experience ✨⛰️🏃‍♀️

I had the incredible opportunity to document @beyond.ok in her venture to complete the Leadville 100: a 100 mile footrace (@leadvilleraceseries)in the San Isabel National Forest in central Colorado. So many memories and friendships made, and I cannot wait to cut everything together to share.

Here are some photos I snagged (as well as some from the wonderfully talented @taylorsylvester) from the weekend. by @ansonkwilson

The new contemporary menswear + sourced vintage @yokiestudio in McKinney, TX opens today!

Had the honor and privilege of photographing the space. Cannot wait to go grab some pieces here soon! Huge shoutout to @iamshayt and his vision and hard work. This dude is not only talented, but determined about creating a space for community. Even if you don’t purchase anything, you need to go check out what he has crafted up.

Praying that you see the fruit today and in the years to come my guy! by @ansonkwilson

Life lately 🧨🐶🏕️🍜🏋🏼‍♂️☕️💛

All of these are great moments that I’ll cherish for a long time. But don’t get things mixed up here…there are some tough moments in between as well. Good moments and rough ones that aren’t captured. But that’s the beauty of life right? It’d be boring and we wouldn’t grow if we didn’t hit the rough spots.

So here’s to growing older, making more memories, learning from the mistakes, and just embracing life and how much I love my family and friends and how lucky I feel to be in the shoes I’m in.

P.S. @leauxwilson and I need to take more pictures together…can’t keep doing this whole “pic of you and then pic of me” thing. Okay, thanks 🤘🏽

@thestoneleigh might be our favorite hotel in Dallas 🏆

Over 100 years old, the Stoneleigh shines in the Dallas spotlight after a fresh makeover. From the pool and yard to the rooms you sleep in, every detail transports you to a refined time in the past.

It was such a true pleasure staying here with @leauxwilson especially knowing that more than 60 years ago, my grandmother helped market events for The Stoneleigh. Cool to see it still standing strong and still giving a nod to its origins.

Eclectic home in Edgemere Park didn’t disappoint. Stunning details in every single room that make you feel like each space has a purpose that transports you into another world.

Tulsa may be growing on me 👀

Forgot my tripod head, but still managed to capture a few decent handheld shots.

Stayed the night at @hotelbrut and man, it didn’t disappoint. The cozy design inside matched with the beautiful brutalist architecture by @sikes_abernathie_architects was amazing! Took a walk down S. Boulder and saw @leadlinemarketing , a cool parking garage, a church, and a few other architectural gems.

The best camera I’ve ever owned isn’t an expensive one. It’s just been the one that’s convenient. Took these on an unprompted walk with @leauxwilson before dinner a few weeks ago. Just wanted to share some of the things that looked nice under an Oklahoma sunset. by @ansonkwilson
