What an epic race!! @ironman_world_championship in Kona is definitely the craziest race I’ve ever done. Thanks everyone for all the support. You’re all amazing and it meant a lot. I’ve followed this race pretty much my entire adult life and have seen what it does to people. Knowing that, it still can’t prepare you on the day. Even though I didn’t pull off the time I was capable of, which to be honest was a very grey area with the reputation of this race. I knew in the end it was far more important to get to the finish line in one piece and enjoy this experience with my family. There were however a few moments in the infamous energy lab where I wondered if that would happen. This race was relentless from start to finish and I’m stoked to have the opportunity to race here. Will I be back. Maybe🤔. Massive thanks to @gregmcdermottxkoasports for setting me up with the ability to get this race done. And especially my family for putting up with me😁and this long prep😘. taken in IRONMAN World Championship by @ant_01nz

Antony Boyd had been dreaming of his day in Kona for over a decade, striving for his chance.

To see how proud Lucy and Hamish were was truly a highlight of the week.

50 years young, what a role model! ❤️

You’re a good man Boydy, and now a Hawaiian IRONMAN. 👑

Every now and then you meet a great bloke in life.

So bloody happy to see my mate @ant_01nz hit his all time goal. Hitting the Queen K on Saturday in peak condition.

Full time work. Full time family. Full time commitment. 🫶🏼

Family there the entire way to watch it all unfold. LFG

Fun weekend at @ironman.cairns. A pretty late entry to the 70.3. But with the @ironmanworldchampionship2026 in Kona 16 weeks away, there was a need for a bit of a kickstart to the training. So coming away with 3rd in AG with minimal prep was a cool start. And getting to watch mates kill the Ironman made for an awesome day. Build to Kona begins😬. @koasports01 @gregmcdermottxkoasports @infinitnutritionoz taken in IRONMAN in Cairns by @ant_01nz

Remember this moment like it was yesterday on a boys trip to Ironman NZ. My wheels were completely falling off. Feeling sorry for myself, and all I wanted was a bit of motivation. @cheshire.jason rolls up to me and in true Jase fashion… shit ant you look fucked. And started pissing himself while running off. Loved it!! Exactly what I needed. What a human. We love you and will miss your amazing positivity. by @ant_01nz

Thanks @samlaidlow for easily making the highlight of Hamish’s 2025. Crazy getting to swim with one of the biggest names in triathlon at your local pool, @coolumaquaticcentre. Super nice guy and was happy to give his time to chat with Hamish. #smilesformiles taken in Coolum Aquatic Centre by @ant_01nz
