I’ve realized I’ve been trying to figure myself out instead of giving myself room to become.

Maybe that’s the trap ⛓️‍💥

You can spend so much time trying to define yourself that you forget to actually discover yourself.

So I’m giving myself room to experiment, create, change my mind, and follow what genuinely interests me. 🦖

No box. No perfect formula.

Just me, figuring it out in public.

That feels a lot more like freedom. 💯

I’ve had to ask myself… would I still worship Jesus if He never gave me what I prayed for?

No breakthrough.
No blessing.
No “yes.”
No explanation.
No stage.
No lights.

Just Jesus.

Honestly, that’s where real worship gets tested.
Am I after His hand, or am I after His heart?

I made a decision years ago that regardless of what I have or don’t have, I will forever choose Jesus.

Because Jesus doesn’t have to keep proving Himself to me for Him to be worship.

He’s already worthy.

So yeah… give me the blessings. Give me the breakthrough. I’ll thank You for all of it.

But even if it’s just you?
JESUS… You’re still enough 🕊️

For the longest time, I was looking for my niche.

What do I talk about?
What do I create?
What’s my “thing”?
What lane am I supposed to stay in?

And honestly…
the search had me sitting still.

Waiting for the perfect idea.
The perfect direction.
The perfect box to put myself in.

Then I realized…

I’ve been trying to find a niche when I AM the niche.

I’m a creative.
A filmmaker.
A musician.
A song writer.
A producer.
A soccer player.
A husband.
A dad.
A believer.
A pastor.
A thinker.
A storyteller.
A whole bunch of things that don’t always fit neatly into one category.

And maybe they’re not supposed to.

So instead of waiting to figure out what I’m supposed to make…

I’m just gonna make what feels like me.

The cameras.
The conversations.
The music.
The ideas.
The random thoughts.
The behind-the-scenes.
The lessons.
The wins.
The failures.

All of it.

So we’re here.

Nahhh… you still struggle to treat people right… This is mercy. You still have that temper. You still need deliverance.⚡️
A prophetic word doesn’t mean you don’t have mess. 😬

It means God sees past the mess and still calls out who He created you to be. 🙌

But don’t get so caught up in the prophecy that you forget the process. 💪

A word won’t do the work for you‼️

You still gotta choose.
You still gotta grow.
You still gotta obey.

Don’t just say “Yes Lord” to what sounds good 💯

Say “Yes Lord” to the hard stuff too 👀

The correction.
The discipline.
The pruning.
The uncomfortable obedience.

🧠 Pastor Anthony gave us a psychology lesson this Sunday… and it’s safe to say, our minds have some renovating to do 😮‍💨

Cognitive distortion can have us assuming the worst, creating stories about people that may have more to do with what we believe about ourselves than what’s actually true.

We take one moment and turn it into an absolute.

But what if some of the pathways in your mind were built from experiences that were never meant to become your truth?

What if the way you’ve learned to interpret people, situations, and even yourself has been shaped by disappointment, insecurity, rejection, or past experiences 🤔

Maybe it’s time to close those narrow pathways.
