He’s finally here šŸ’™

To all the mamas who’ve been waiting right alongside us - thank you for your love and patience. 🄹Just like his siblings, this little guy took his sweet time… testing our patience, our faith, and reminding us (again!) that these babies come exactly when they’re meant to.

But oh, was he worth the wait. 🄹

We’re soaking in these first precious moments with our healthy boy in our arms, and our hearts couldn’t be fuller. Name reveal coming soon … and yes, it’s a unique and special one. ✨ Deserves its own post.

For now, I’m sitting in gratitude for experiencing such a perfect labor. And a dream come true to have all the kids come right at the end to share in this joyous moment of bringing life into the world.

Our family is finally complete. šŸ’«

One day, it’ll just be the two of us again…

But for now, it’s diapers, dance parties, bedtime chaos, and stepping on Legos.

And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Thank you, @anthony_balance for being the kind of dad who gets down on the floor to play, who shows up with laughter, and who holds it down when things feel wild.

This season can feel like a lot… but it’s everything.

And I’m so grateful to be in it with you.
Happy Father’s Day.

This poem always gets me choked up… it’s a wonderful reminder that while our current life can feel overwhelming at times, it’s the most beautiful chaos. by @anthony_balance_

There are moments that crack your heart open in the most unexpected ways.

This was my daughter’s first jiu jitsu tournament. She lost her first round but she didn’t fall apart. She stayed calm, grounded, steady. And in the middle of all the noise, there’s my husband, holding the baby, fully locked in on her, reminding her how proud he is. My 6-year-old playing nearby, life unfolding in every direction… and he’s right there, anchoring her.

When I look at this, I don’t just see him.
I see my dad. 🄹

Today is his birthday. And if you’ve ever lost a parent too soon, you know how layered a day like this can feel. The love doesn’t fade but neither does the ache.

I was 30 when my dad died. He was only 60. Too young for him, and far too soon for me to lose the person who made me feel the safest in the world. My biggest fan. The one who could calm any storm inside me.

I had just found my footing in my career and moved closer to home to be near him… and then, in a single phone call, everything changed.
The kind of day that rips your heart out and divides your life into before and after.

He wasn’t there to walk me down the aisle.
He hasn’t held my babies.

But if I’m being honest… I still talk to him. And I hear him. I feel his guidance, his reassurance, his voice cutting through when I need it most. It might sound a little ā€œwoo wooā€ but it’s one of the most meaningful parts of our relationship now. Maybe I’ll share more about that another day.

If you’re a mom carrying that same kind of loss, raising your babies while missing your own parent. I see you. It’s a grief that doesn’t leave… it just learns to live alongside the love.

And somehow, in moments like this, there’s also healing.

Because I see my dad in the way my husband loves my kids.
In the patience. The encouragement. The steady presence. The calm.

It reminds me that the love we were given doesn’t disappear.
It keeps moving forward through us, through them.

Happy birthday, Dad.
You are still my safe place. Always. šŸ¤

An absolute honor to learn from @michaellanghi and be in the room with so many killers, students, coaches, and teammates all sharpening iron together.

There’s something special about time on the mats with so many #jiujitsu #bjj #community people who love the process, respect the art, and keep showing up to get better.

Grateful for:
The knowledge
The rolls,
The energy,
And the community.

Jiu-jitsu keeps teaching the same lesson:
Stay humble.
Stay hungry.
Keep evolving… taken in Alliance Eagle by @anthony_balance_

Some mats give you more than technique.
They give you the love of perspective.

Jiu Jitsu has a way of stripping away my ego, exposing my weakness, building grit, while reminding me that growth usually comes with the pressure I don’t want.

Every roll, every rep, every hard round… it all adds up.

What I love most is that this journey isn’t just about learning how to keep fighting, it’s about learning how to stay calm in my chaos, stay humble while growing, and keep showing up when things get uncomfortable.

Respect to those who sharpen me.
Respect to my journey.
Respect to the art.

This old man.
He is.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still on the mat.

Honestly?

Homeschooling has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. ✨

We’ve tried it all… traditional school, a co-op, and now full on homeschool with pods. Every child learns differently, and this shift finally lets us honor what each of our kids actually needs.

One thrives with visuals, one learns best on the move… and now we get to support that instead of working against it. šŸ™Œ

Our mornings are spent at home with a curriculum that fits our family, and three afternoons a week the kids join homeschool pods.

We lean on the pods to bring different teachers in for science experiments, business fairs, and the messy art projects that, let’s be honest, I’m grateful not to have to prep for at home.

They also take music class at our local rock school and now that it’s winter, we get them on snowboards as often as possible.

Learning happens everywhere.

As for work, I squeeze it in early mornings with the baby, during pod times in the afternoon, and a few mornings when the kids finish their work. I hide in my office and pray they don’t storm in, but so far they respect that mom is working.
Small miracles.

I won’t pretend it is easy. It’s a lot of teamwork (best teammate @anthony_balance_ who I couldn’t do this without), a lot of flexibility, and we’re truly taking it semester by semester. Who knows what we’ll choose next year… but right now, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We really do love it.

A few things we’ve learned that really help…

-Make a big snack tray - kids get to choose what they eat, and they work longer when they are eating.Ā

-Get their wiggles out before learning starts and take breaks to move!

-Have special ā€œschool boxesā€ for the little kids to play with when you need to focus with the big kids.Ā

-Ask family/friends or hire a tutor if you need support. My mom leads a religious class once a week, and we LOVE the extra help. Plus, such a win for her, too!

We’re still new to this, so if you have any advice for a first full year homeschool family, I would love to hear your tips!

9 years ago, I birthed my first baby… and my life changed forever.

My first of four homebirths.
And after this one, I swore I’d never do it again
ā€œNext baby, I’m getting an epidural.ā€

It was HARD.
27 hours of labor.
I almost gave up.
I was humbled.
I didn’t think I had it in me.

When she finally came, these tears weren’t just joy
they were exhaustion. Relief.
I needed it to be over.

And then something shifted.

After I had my babies, I felt like I could do anything.
Nothing felt too hard anymore.

To the mamas who are pregnant or wondering what a natural birth is really like:
I’ve had four.
The first two were the hardest things I’ve ever done.
The last two? I felt more empowered than ever.

What changed?
I stopped resisting the discomfort.
I stopped watching the clock.
I shifted my thoughts from ā€œpoor meā€ to
ā€œwhat a privilege it is to labor and bring life into this world.ā€
Everything softened after that.

And that’s motherhood.

We endure so much
the exhaustion, the meltdowns, the long nights, the struggles with teenagers.
It’s serious work.

I believe the birth experience paves the road for motherhood.
It teaches you that hard things can be endured…
and the prize on the other side is greater than you ever imagined.

Know this, mama:
you are strong.
you are capable.
and you can do hard things šŸ¤

My favorite holiday! šŸ
Each night at the dinner table we go around sharing what we’re grateful for. Yes, even our three-year-old takes her turn, and it’s the cutest thing hearing her list off ice cream, baby Revi, pink and purple. šŸ’—šŸ’œ

We decided long ago that we shouldn’t wait for one holiday a year to practice gratitude, so our family does it every single day. And honestly, I think gratitude is what keeps me positive. I can find something to be thankful for in anything… from dealing with a water leak tearing up parts of our home to multiple middle-of-the-night wakings during my son’s 4-month sleep regression happening now. šŸ¤—

Coming from a family whose ancestors survived wars, overcame starvation, and immigrated here with barely $5… I count my blessings every single day. I could list thousands.

And here on this platform, I can’t express enough how unbelievably grateful I am for a dream I never even knew to dream - getting to support 250K moms every day. What an honor. šŸ’›

Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
Thank you for the privilege of being on this motherhood journey with you… it’s the biggest honor. 🄺

And if you haven’t already, consider starting a gratitude share around your dinner table. It’s a simple practice that enriches our family and connects us deeply. I hope it does the same for yours. 🫶
