Challenging yourself is the only way to grow as growth doesn’t come from comfort(except nepo babies in their “British” schools).

Growth in one aspect will definitely cause growth/change in other aspects. Can’t wait to see what I become as we go. 💪🏾

The caption is really the song and I always sing it to myself anytime I’m wearing the color.

This color you see is interesting because it formed one of my traumatic memories…

I was a young, peaceful, and good-looking(not like it has changed🗿) child living my best life. A couple then approached my parents in church requesting I be their ring bearer..

I was not the most excited about it as that would require me walking to the front of the church and put up an act which I wasn’t a fan of.

The real issue was being forced to wear a green suit that wasn’t my size. I fought against it, said I didn’t want to do the thing anymore but ofcourse, they didn’t let me.

I walked down the aisle for the first time wearing the small green suit, white net gloves, sad, almost crying, and a resolve in my heart to hate weddings.

Many years later, green found me again, not because I’m Nigerian 🇳🇬, but because, somehow, things end up green for me, and now, I embrace the color in all shades(not all) and the good that comes with the things it represents.

I would rather be in my house but that is convenient and growth doesn’t come from convenience, SO! I go out, do the work, meet people, and then put yourself and your work out there…like I’m doing right now.
