Two tour buses stopped for a day off, two tour buses leave this morning for two more shows of an insanely long year of tours!

I wanna wish a very Happy 18th Birthday to Roki @rokiabdelazizzz . So for his birthday I gave him back the shirt he wore on stage at the Poland Rocks Festival when he was around 9. Imagine standing in front of a 50k + crowd at that age and speaking into a mic lol. Last night he got back his shirt. I’m so proud of the young man you’ve become and I love ya kid! I definitely have two moms. Both are absolutely incredible women. My other mom, @gloriacavalera , the heartbeat of the Cavalera family. Undoubtedly the driving force behind everything we all see and hear from this family. Ive said this before and I’ll say it again, they broke the mold when they made Gloria. One of a kind, truly connected to everything and everyone around her. Seeing the chaotic world she navigates up close, which would give most people complete nervous breakdowns…she does it with the authority of a general, but with the absolute love of a mother.
World tours, albums, multiple bands….yet she will also be concerned for the squirrels in the yard or the plants and how they are growing. Showing me how to trim the basil plants or telling me a cool story about the past, these moments are special to me. She has a wealth of knowledge that I have the privilege to learn from. Her love, devotion and dedication to her family is second to none…the gold standard. I am so fortunate that Remi has such strong, smart and determined women in her life. Gloria teaches her grandchildren about the past, shares family lineage and stories with them. Thank you for being such an amazing grandmother to Remi!

I have a very short list of people i would kill, maim or die for, Gloria is at the top of that list.. that is a fact.

I love this women with all my heart, she deserves the best birthday!! Love you so much!! 💚❤️
