Had an absolute blast at Debonair Music Hall this past weekend with my dudes in Redefined. I even broke out my old MIJ Jackson DR7. Still plays great after 23 years of abuse.

Thank you to every band that shared the stage with us that night. Special thanks to the boys in @numetalvalues for putting the event together and an extra special thanks to @sinceubeensean and Cari for breaking out the pipes for us!!

📷 @julianeleighforsyth Thanks again Jules!!

@louderthanlifefest was amazing! We want to thank @chrishammillphoto and @dellamoredante for all the audio and video and photo work they provided for us. Lots more to come. Live videos going up on YouTube very soon! Thanks to @dannywimmerpresents for having us! What an amazing festival they put on. The staff was amazing and so very helpful! @ruwanelakel was great keeping us in the loop all day and helping get us everything we needed! Hopefully we can do it again next year! 📸 @dellamoredante by @anthonybgtr

It has been said that music is one of life’s greatest gifts: a universal language that everyone can speak and understand. Something as simple as a melody can uplift someone’s spirits or help articulate complex emotions. It comes from the heart and speaks to the soul. For many, simply listening to music is enough, but for others, the music makers, it means that much more.

Last night, as I was setting up my rig to play a gig in NJ, I was shocked when my guitar teacher from years ago showed up, case in hand. Inside was a guitar that he had built himself and had used for many years back in the nyc club scene. I was even more shocked when he told me that guitar was now mine.

I studied with Mike for a few years and he really opened up my playing and made me the guitarist I am today. So, I want to thank him once again for this ridiculously awesome gift and gesture. It will see many stages in my hands in the years to come.

But, I will hold up my end of the deal: when I find a player that speaks to me, I will gift it to them.

Thanks again Real Satch! by @anthonybgtr
