One of my favorite things about photography is collaborating with people who truly embrace creativity, and every session with this incredible hat designer is exactly that. He’s been one of my very first clients, and over the years he’s continued to trust me with bringing his vision to life through new concepts, bold lighting, thoughtful composition, and storytelling. As #TXFW takes an intentional pause and shifts focus to efforts supporting the community during difficult times economically, nationally, and globally, one organization we are partnering with to support is @fuerzaunidasa ✊🏾

Founded in the 90s, Fuerza Unida is a nonprofit made up of seamstresses who have a long history of fighting for garment-workers rights after Levi’s let go of 1,100 Latinx factory workers, promising pension and healthcare coverage — that was never received.

The women at #FuerzaUnida went on hunger strikes, organized protests, and were even arrested for their activism. Today, they support the community through outreach, education, and advocacy.
