Every August 19th the world represents the Photographer Day, and I would like to dedicate this post
To the first person who ever believed in me when I was only 6.
I moved to the Middle East in 91 (God knows what wrong in this world for that),
From my fancy house, I lived in a small apartment. The apartment was full of air traffic, all types of aircraft (including Skydiver’s ultralight and one UFO plus light balls).

Before I knew about aviation photography, I wanted to take pictures of those aircraft.
So, I went to the photography shop and I met David, David was a very pleasant person
That grandpa I never had.

(I don’t have any uncles or aunts or fathers,
and I’m an only child & I always try to do a lemonade from the lemon).

In the past, we used to use film in the camera and take it to development
And hope for the best, we also had to pick the right ISA (it’s the ISO for that we use today).
Every afternoon, I went to David and heard his opinion.

He told me one day: “You got a great eye, one day your pictures will mean something”.

I take his words with me every day.

I never had any support. When I bought my first digital camera (way before the DSLR), my mother told me: “Are you a photographer or journalist?”,

Only at the age of 21 I bought my first DSLR camera and It was the 1000D, at the age of 23 I bought the T3i and only at the age of 25 I bought the Canon 6D along with Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary & on my 30th birthday I got my Canon 5D MK IV with Sigma 70-200mm from a special friend.
Today, I'm photographing with Canon R5 mk ii/i with Sigma 60-600mm.

I am still fighting hard to turn this passion into a job (not as a primary job because I want to return to flying again).

No matter how much I try in 99%, I ignore it, or it’s a no..

David passed away near the year 2000, and all I ever wanted to tell him was thank you!

2 days in a row the police helicopter
Airbus H125 helicopter flew before dawn (quit rare).
The second flight was right next to the Moon & the Canon R5 mk ii & Sigma 60-600 was able to capture it - hand holding!💪

Every 4th of July, my heart feels heavy because I'm reminded of who I am, where I come from, and where I truly belong. 🇺🇸
I also remember the best 4th of July I ever had, back in 2017, when the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) docked just 4 km off the coastline.
Every day, I look toward the port, hoping to see a visit from my homeland.

Then came Saturday morning, February 28. After nine years of waiting, the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) was supposed to be visible from the coastline. I was on top of the world with excitement... but instead, I was met with something else.

All that remains now is a memory captured in a photograph—memories of days I wish I could relive.

Only God knows the pain I'm going through just to get back home. Where I truly belong.
