Happy Birthday to someone who has inspired not only me, but millions of people around the world.

I’ve admired Martha Stewart for as long as I can remember. What started with her magazines, books, and television shows turned into so much more. She taught me to appreciate the little details, to find beauty in everyday life, and that creativity and hard work can build something extraordinary.

What I’ve always loved most about Martha is that she never stopped evolving. She built an incredible career doing what she loved, faced challenges that would have defined most people, and somehow came back even stronger. Yet she’s never stopped having fun along the way. One day she’s posting the internet’s most famous pool selfie, the next she’s hanging out with Snoop, and somehow she just keeps getting cooler. Honestly, I think that’s part of what makes so many people love her.

Happy Birthday, @marthastewart48. Thank you for sharing your talents, your knowledge, and your passion with the world. Brimfield Day 1: I ended up spending more money on parking and show entrance fees than anything I bought 😭. Found this amazing faux bois table and chairs on Facebook marketplace though! Perfect setting for dinner tonight by the vegetable garden using @marthastewart48 Martha By Mail vase for fresh cut spandragons from our cutting garden. The jadeite plates and wine glasses are Martha too, but more recent. by @anthonypicozzi

Every year I say the same thing… poppies are my favorite flower.

There’s just something about them; some are big and ruffled, some are simple with paper-thin petals, and others look almost like peonies. No two seem to be exactly alike, and every morning there’s another bloom waiting to open.

The best part is that they don’t last long. For a couple of weeks they completely steal the show, and then they’re gone until next year. Maybe that’s part of what makes them so special.

So yes, I’m posting a ton of pictures of poppies and next June, I’ll probably post again that they’re my favorite flower 😂 by @anthonypicozzi
