🎥 CHECK OUT SOME OF THE MJOR INSPOS FOR “SLEEPER”. I had a lot of fun making my latest social short “SLEEPER” (link in bio/ might post to IG soon🤔). Even though it’s a microfilm, I wanted to share a some references from the board that went into creating it.

🎥“Sinners” (courtesy: @proximitymedia) played a big role in visualizing how i wanted the two subjects to interact. I wanted the challenge of shooting and editing something myself that I hadn’t really done before. Sinners being my favorite movie of 25’ informed how I wanted to make the edits happen and of course how to contrast my character personalities.

🎥 2. “Over the Board” I really enjoyed @thebellsentertainment_ ‘s “Over the Board” since first viewing it on youtube maybe a year or so ago. I had been workshopping how I could incorporate a meaningful conversation between my subjects and immediately remembered how i felt while watching “Over the Board”. There was so much symbolism over the game of chess for estranged twin brothers and i was able to pull a lot of inspiration from that visualization and dialogue.

🎥3. @ joshuaneall ‘s Top5 series on dating. While extremely hilarious i was inspired by the style, colors and mise-en-scene. It all felt meticulous and intentional which is what i wanted to capture as well. The burgandy, gold and cream just went together too well (which was also the case for Sinners-Stack).

I really enjoy pulling inspiration from amazing modern and historical works so let me know if i should keep posting these boards in the comments!🎥 #keepcreating by @anthonys.perspective
