Dancing our way out of a sticky situation 💃🏼😌

💋 What inspired you to become a hairstylist?  
I was 15 and desperately wanted to be a scene kid, so I started highlighting my own hair! Watching my black hair turn into shades of red, orange, and finally, platinum, was pure magic. ✨ I was also super into Lady Gaga, so I’d do all this while blasting her music. My mom would bring home color, bleach, and old mannequin heads from her job, and I’d just experiment. From there, I knew this was my calling. 😌

🖌️ What’s your favorite technique or service to perform? 
I love doing a full foil using the air touch technique. 🙌🏻 The results are so satisfying and the grow-out is beautiful. There’s just something about that touch—the air touch really hits different!

✨ If you could do any celebrity’s hair, who would it be and why?
 Britney!! 🎤 Hair extensions are a lot of maintenance, and they need special care, so I’d volunteer to pamper her any day. That’s motherrrr!

✨ If you weren’t a hairstylist, what would you be doing?  
Well, being obsessed with pop stars, I got into drag and even thought about doing it professionally! But I ended up following my love for hair because honestly, I’m not really built for the nightlife, hehe. ☺️🌙

🍄 What excites you about working at Mycelium?  
I love it hereeee—Sweeties only! Honestly, I don’t always feel like leaving the house to work (no offense, y’all 😭), but once I’m here, all those negative feelings go away. The girls and the energy here help me push through the day. I wouldn’t trade it for anything! 🥹💕
