A portrait is a visual modeling of human essence, capturing not just appearance but a subtle system of emotions, contexts, and intentions. It is a condensed narrative where form, light, and gesture become language.
Its purpose is to make the invisible visible: inner personality, lived experience, emotion, or intention.

Portrait is a Brussels-based studio founded by a duo of directors and a director of photography, dedicated to creating content guided by this very philosophy.
As a duo, you function like a two-minded organism, one shaping structure and concept, the other shaping image and sensation. Together, you create an expanded portrait, where every frame becomes an extension of the subject’s identity, a stylized yet faithful mirror. by @anthonyversluys

”I’m @anthonyversluys , a videographer from Belgium.

I started out doing graffiti, always carrying a camera to document my pieces. As cameras evolved with new features, my passion shifted toward videography, and I fell in love with storytelling through film. My biggest inspirations are Gordon Von Steiner, Ben Forum, and Wes Anderson. I admire the work they’ve created and the unique perspectives they bring.

What truly enriches my life is my family—my little daughter and my girlfriend. I consider myself very lucky. My job allows me to travel the world, work closely with my friends, and capture incredible moments through my lens.” by @anthonyversluys
