yes, i joke about wanting the relationship, the soft routines, the matching hoodies and sunday mornings. but my reality right now is dance floors at 2am, sleeping through alarms, accidentally spending my grocery budget on ubers, blurry selfies, and eating chips on the curb with my friends. and honestly that might be okay for now. i’m not sure if i’m coping with reality or i’m enjoying being single but these chaotic nights are the stories i’ll smile about later either way 💡 ☁️ 💭 🍂 🩵 by @antibxn

i don’t wanna cry, but manchester pride left a mark on me i’ll never forget. growing up in a small town, bullied, with no gay friends or community, i never imagined i’d one day stand in the middle of thousands loud, proud, unapologetic. it lit a fire in me.
our rights are under threat, and now more than ever we need to stand with each other. i’ve lived to see gay marriage legalised, and now i’m watching it be chipped away. trans rights are being stripped in real time. we cannot let fear or division weaken us. we have to let go of insecurities, support each other, and rise united against homophobia and transphobia. pride is power, pride is protest, and pride is family. ✊🏽 taken in Manchester Pride by @antibxn

.@camila_cabello at 7 years old, you arrived on a boat to miami with nothing but the clothes on your back, a toy in your one hand and your mothers hand in the other one.
you didn’t speak a word of the language, the same language you’d one day use to give so many of us hope.
you grew up and gave that hope back to all of us.

this quote shifted something in me. for years, my birthday brought up feelings of lack, love that never landed, milestones unmet.
but this year, i’m choosing to look at what i’ve survived. the days of destruction that could’ve broken me but didn’t. the fact that i haven’t let the chaos of life make me bitter or closed. i still believe in softness. i still believe in something better.
i’m learning that life is catch and release. not everything is meant to be carried forever. some things are meant to be felt, honoured, and let go.
so this birthday, i’m choosing to loosen up and make space for what’s next.
i honour the strength it takes to stay open in a world that tries to harden you and the courage it takes to move forward lighter. by @antibxn
