First time being in the attic of a church. Then discovering an old pharmacist garden & summer house right behind that chuch & seeing cute little humming birds (soo tiny), also for the first time in my life. Could have watched them for hours. Then had a coffee underneath a medlar tree.

The attic gave Kubrick like ‚2001: A Space Odyssey’. Felt like a church within a church. The rose window reminded me of ‚The Crow‘, like I wouldn‘t mind moving in & putting a bed underneath.

Georgium pt. 2

Debate me. In eine Galerie gehen ist wie die sinnlichere Variante von Doomscolling. Man nimmt sich Zeit von Bild zu Bild zu wandern, inspiziert Motive mit Muße, fragt sich, wen sie abbilden, wer sie wo & warum hergestellt hat, welche Geschichten sich hinter den Gesichtern & hinter der Oberfläche verbergen.

Berührt haben mich z.B. Bilder von 2 Kindern oder auch von einem unbekannten Mann, 300 Jahre alt, sein Gesicht gemalt als stünde ich vor ihm. Nichts ist übermittelt außer sein Antlitz. Wer er war? Warum wurde er gemalt? Keine Ahnung. Ist das nicht faszinierend?!

Berührt hat mich außerdem vor echten Cranachs zu stehen, vor einem Bild auch, dass er in Wittenberg gemalt hat, in genau den Räumen, in denen ich neulich ein Schulprojekt durchführen & hospitieren durfte. Verrückt.

Hands talk.

They caress.

They do the work. The dishes, the art. They hold the steering wheel, the shopping bag, banalities & meaning. They greet, they touch. The grass, the skin. They cook, they eat & feed, they clean, mop the floors & wipe tears from faces. They write & type. They build & repair. They turn the pages, pick the flowers, turn the keys.

They tremble.
