Manche Orte besucht man.
Und manche Begegnungen trägt man für immer im Herzen. 🤍

Der Besuch am Grab des heiligen Paisios in Griechenland war für mich schon etwas ganz Besonderes. Doch ich hätte niemals gedacht, welche Bedeutung dieser Ort wenige Tage später für mich bekommen würde.

Kurz darauf hatte ich meinen Unfall und brach mir den Fuß. Trotzdem sind wir noch zum Kloster Ormylia gefahren. Dort fiel mir das Buch „Geistiger Kampf“ vom heiligen Paisios in die Hände – und ich nahm es mit.

Heute fühlt es sich für mich nicht wie ein Zufall an.

Seit meinem Unfall glaube ich noch stärker daran, dass Gott uns manchmal auf eine Weise beschützt, die wir erst später verstehen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass mein Schutzengel bei mir war und mich vor etwas Schlimmerem bewahrt hat. 🙏🏻

Dieses Buch begleitet mich seitdem auf eine ganz besondere Weise. Vielleicht war dieser Besuch genau zur richtigen Zeit in meinem Leben.

Ich weiß nicht, warum Gott manche Wege so führt.
Aber ich weiß, dass ich dankbar bin. 🤍☦️

Some encounters stay with you forever. 🤍

Visiting the tomb of Saint Paisios in Greece was already deeply meaningful to me. But I never imagined how much this place would come to mean to me just a few days later.

I had an accident and broke my foot. Yet we still visited the Monastery of Ormylia, where I found the book Spiritual Struggle by Saint Paisios.

Today, it doesn’t feel like a coincidence.

Since my accident, I believe even more deeply that God protects us in ways we may only understand later. I truly felt that my guardian angel was with me and that I was protected from something far worse. 🙏🏻

This book has been accompanying me ever since, and it feels incredibly personal to me.

I may never understand why God leads us through certain paths.
But I know that I am grateful. 🤍☦️

Saint Paisios, pray for us.

A Sunday we will never forget. 🕊️✨

We had the blessing of attending Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Brooklyn, together with His Eminence Metropolitan Saba Esber.

It was an especially beautiful and meaningful day as a deacon and a priest were ordained during the service. To witness these sacred moments of prayer, faith, and dedication was truly a blessing. 🙏🏻☦️

Some moments are more than just memories — they stay in your heart. ❤️
