A rollercoaster weekend at Monza! 🎢🇮🇹

It was my first time racing behind the wheel of the Maserati MC20 GT2 and the debut of the @i4race.racing team. Honestly, the car is just amazing to drive. 🔱🔥

🥇 Race 1: We couldn’t have asked for a better start... VICTORY! Winning our very first race together was an incredible feeling. 🏆

💥 Race 2: I got off to a great start, jumping from P5 to P4. But right from the first corner, I felt the rear right tire wasn’t holding up normally. Crossing the start/finish line after just one lap... the tire literally exploded. No contact with other cars, no aggressive kerb riding, just completely unexpected.

A massive high and a huge disappointment all in one weekend.

A massive thank you to @maseraticorse for their incredible support, and to the whole @i4race.racing team for the great job done throughout the weekend. The pace is there, we’ll bounce back stronger at our home race 🇧🇪 💪🏼

Antoine Potty claimed victory in Race 1 at Monza to become the first winner of the 2026 GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli season.

Driving the i4Race Maserati GT2, Potty delivered a commanding performance in the opening race of the year to secure the first overall win of the new campaign at the Temple of Speed.

In Pro-Am, SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm claimed class honours with David Thilenius and Jay Mo Härtling aboard the Mercedes-AMG GT2.

The Masters class victory went to Philippe Prette and LP Racing in the Maserati GT2.

Attention now turns to Race 2 as the GT2 European Series season opener continues at Monza.
