2025 Skating Recap. I truly appreciate my skating journey. I have met some amazing people throughout this journey. And I use this term a lot but I truly appreciate my Skate Fam. Thank you to everyone that’s ever skated with me (you all make me better), thank you to all of the amazing videographers, and a thank you to all of you skaters that work on your craft and showcase your skating.

I truly wish blessings to everyone into the New Year! 🙏🏾

So I always tell my mom to make sure she stretches and goes walking. So she goes walking M-F and walks 3-4 miles a day. She’s such a fast walker that my sister told her that she should do a 5k and she felt that she could win for her age group. My mom messaged us every day showing us her walking progress. She did this for a couple of months.

She found out last month that she had cancer and she told me that she was doing everything she does as planned and she continued to exercise.

So on October 18th she ran in her first 5k with my sister Rita. And she came in 2nd place. We all were so proud of her. And I was even more proud seeing her tears of happiness because she had worked hard and was consistent every day.

Tomorrow she has surgery for her cancer. And I pray that she beats this and I have Faith that she will.

Love you Momma, Always proud of you and thankful for you.

I had to add this roll in with @rollinwitrowan to the skate journal. This was our first time meeting and skating together and it was so fun. She can skate her ass off. 🙌🏾 Plus we were randomly matching colors. 😂

Fun lil practice with my Skate Fam from London at Cascade. It was our first roll and it was cool especially with her being from another country.
