A little vox poping I did a couple of months ago and forgot to post.

I was out for Times Radio Breakfast asking people about whether they are still wearing poppies for Remembrance Day.

Give it a listen!

I thought I'd post some of my old videos from the last year before I start making new content and what I've been getting up to! This video really special and such. joy to make. As someone who grew up with Carnival and Black British music in general, it was so interesting learning about its roots in London. Shout to @corijobrown for helping film this one! Beating the Winter Blues! ❄️ How Are Londoners Using Wellness Sessions to Combat SAD?

As winter sets in, many people experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a condition linked to reduced sunlight exposure. Studies suggest that up to 1.6 million people in the UK struggle with the “winter blues”—and women are disproportionately affected.
In this video, we explore how She Is You and The Phoenix Centre in South London are helping women combat SAD through movement, community, and wellness.

My first digital piece for CityNews a couple of weeks back.

Opening in 1889 #norburypark Park Lawn Tennis Club is one of the worlds oldest tennis clubs, but it is under threat of closure due to increasing council budgets.

I spoke to the chairman, Blaise Westmaas, and club members about what this closure could mean for the local community.

Another article I did for citynews. This news day was the last day of the term and it was difficult to write, but again happy with the outcome of the piece.

Bookshops are turning the page on the loss in footfall they have been seeing over the last couple of years. We are seeing a number of bookshops opening all around the capital and the UK but this doesn’t come without its challenges. I spoke to Meryl Halls of the Booksellers Association and bookshop owner Vida Adamczewski more about this recent trend.

Have a read of an article a wrote for City News.

I had originally planned to do a reel but I had to rework it into a multi media article and really happy with how it turned out.

London Broad Street Amateur Boxing Club has trained young people from lower economic backgrounds free of charge for over 138 years, but now it’s under threat of closure. I had the pleasure of speaking to the head coach and some young people who train there about how it would impact them and their local community.

My 1st TV News package for CityNews a couple of weeks back.

Getting this done was a stress but really happy with how it turned out!

The rising cost of living can take a toll on all of us, especially in terms of food prices. With healthy food costing almost double per calorie, compare to unhealthy options, the link between pricing and negative health outcomes is clear.

One solution can be found in community kitchens, offering classes and support to those affected by food inequality.

Check out my report on how community kitchens are tackling food inequality. taken in London, United Kingdom by @antoinettebroadcasts
