Antonia Aurin ( @antonia.aurin ) is an artist, dancer, actress and director working at the intersection of theatre, dance and performance.

With her work Antonia explores questions of belonging, loneliness, tiktok dances and irony.
Her artistic language is powerful, playful and poetic. It includes precise choreography, fragmented texts, colorful images, loud music and sexy costumes.
The outcome: physically driven performances that move between the intimate and the social.

At Grabowsee she worked on a new piece called „Silent Blue“. It’s about a lonely prepper, a telephone lady, a postman and Martin, who got got cancelled. It will be dreamy, sad and a bit funny (she hopes).

We were lucky she took part this year for the first time 🌿

Being at @countdowngrabowsee residency and working on dialogues, steps and stairs, choreographing lonely trumped sounds and cheesy old german pop songs. THANK YOU to every single present artist and ghost 🧡 even though the nights were cold, I loved every collaboration. Also thank you to @robblaketv for the pictures! 🌻 taken in Heilstätte Grabowsee by @antonia.aurin

Actually, Antonia was taking photos with Jürgen that day – and I was with Alwina. That was the plan. But then I managed to persuade Antonia to come behind the curtain / the blind for a few photos.

A N T O N I A - @antoniavaurin
~
I reckon that, after all the exhibitions and the photos of the brilliant performances and theatre productions at Alanus University, it’s about time I showed some of my ‘own stuff’ again.
The photos of Antonia are actually from April. It’s been a while. But as I met her by chance yesterday, I thought: let’s go for it!
