“They don’t look like posed photos… they look like US.”

As a wedding photographer, I honestly can’t imagine a better compliment.

hii, i’m Antonina — the person behind antoninafoto 🌴
i’m based in punta cana, dominican republic, documenting love stories in a way that feels honest, emotional and timeless ✨

i actually studied psychology at university, but somehow life led me here — capturing real emotions and calling it work !

a few random facts about me:
– i’m originally from russia
– i’m a mom to two beautiful girls (my biggest inspiration in life)
– i genuinely love working… probably a little too much haha
– i met my future husband at one of my clients’ weddings — he was the videographer from a different company
– i’m an extremely empathetic person — i cry when things feel heavy, and i cry when moments are overwhelmingly beautiful too 🤍

i’ve loved photography since i was a child.
my dad used to photograph our family on film and with a polaroid camera, and i think a part of that stayed with me forever. photography feels like a little piece of him that i carry with me — and a reminder of where i come from.

thank you for being here and supporting this dream — it truly means more than you know 🤍 taken in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic by @antoninafoto
