Just two people who decided to take a risk and do what they really love.

So this is our story…

Anton & I both had very different careers a year ago. Anton had been working in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and I in corporate.

In lockdown Anton taught himself to play the Ukulele and I started to really train my voice.

We both begun dipping our toes in music and singing part time separately. Then our boss @laurenkaycee24 told us we should be a duo. (Which I’m sure she regrets now as we keep getting booked to sing on her weddings and not work coordination)
😂🤍

Well that was it! A few rehearsals later a friendship was formed and a realisation that our voices fit together so well.

We wanted to create something a little different. Bringing mashups and not your average wedding music. We wanted R&B house POP reggae even some rapping.

Then was born UKIYO!

It’s our first full season and we couldn’t be more grateful and happy that we took a risk and a leap of faith to be able to be creative for a living.

The beginning of an incredible friendship and musical journey.

We’re already booking out 2026 so if you’d like us to add a little spice and magic to your event please reach out.

We’re forever grateful for this life we are building.

Roll on the rest of the season! And thank you to everyone that has booked us so far.

This was our first duo song we performed! Shout out to @vancejoy for your incredible music. If you ever need a support act I know a girl and a guy who plays ukelele who would LOVE to! 😉

Ibiza half marathon completed in 1 hour 58 minutes ✅️ not bad for 1 days notice and 3 runs in the winter straight off the couch I'll take that any day of the week. But wouldn't recommend doing it with no training knee is shot to bits 😫

Great to see the ibiza fam coming together for a great cause in memory of🌹ROSIE🌹

Thank you to all those who came out to support and well done to everybody that ran on the day x
