Felt like jamming on something a little more serene tonight.

Similar to yesterday, what does random on everything do for Buchla 700?!?

How much random is too much random? A little variation on @synthtodd ‘s random patch.

Two sine waves, and some modulation, and I swear this sounds like the machine is breathing.
Gasping for air…
Who heard of a machine that needs to breathe…

Practice today led to some feedback patching through the @tiptopaudiofficial Buchla 200 modules. 296t, 258t, 230t, and 285t all taking crucial roles in this feedback patch. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @antonriehl

I believe it’s important to test every piece of gear with a #krell patch to understand how well it can krell… the 416.3 metaexpander does not disappoint. Krelling switches and parameters that were completely inaccessible before. (Didn’t use every patch cable I own, but came close…) #buchla #buchlamusiceasel taken in Chicago, Illinois by @antonriehl

Some day 1 experiments with the @instruomodular ceithir — this quad filter is amazing and beautiful.
Needed to pair that with a @tiptopaudiofficial MARF (and other Buchla 200 modules) and a @somasynths Flux.

Just an Eb maj7 drone with three of my favorite modular makers. @ns.instruments @sonocurrent @instruomodular some subtle feedback patching in here, and some audio rate crossfading create some interesting layers. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @antonriehl

Oh my, feedback patching is so much fun. Trying some of the cybernetics ideas out in Eurorack now… and I haven’t even scratched the surface of what I’d like to explore. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @antonriehl

Surgery successful. My 700 FM voice from @wuxiaoen1984 now supports polyphonic MIDI up to 4 voices! Opening up some interesting possibilities. #buchla #modularsynthesizer taken in Chicago, Illinois by @antonriehl
