I had such a great day yesterday with @ashley_perrier. We managed to finish up her Robin and Iris tattoo! Left side healed, right side fresh. Really proud of how we got both these forearm tattoos to work and flow together

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that reached out a few days ago after expressing some vulnerability within my work and posting to Instagram because of some negative comments. I checked my insights and I got 838 replies to my story as well as texts, calls and emails in support of me and my work. I am doing my absolute best to get back to everyone individually but if I miss your message. Simply…Thank you. You have no idea how that made me feel to realise how much support I have from you guys. I honestly had no idea. Every message was beautifully written and so thoughtful. In a moment of sadness you guys brought the biggest smile to my face. I promise I’ll never stop sharing my work and I promise I will never ever stop trying my very best to do the best tattoo I possibly can.

So glad I got to finish this side panel on Joey! This is one of my favourite ever tattoos and it just so happens to be on one of my favourite customers ever! Thanks Buddy you made the whole experience brilliant. It was almost like we planned our sessions so we could watch the football together.

Can’t wait to get started on the next project!

Mostly healed with some healing, and some fresh. I will post fully healed photos as soon as I can!

Had the absolute pleasure of tattooing this nautical themed chest piece on Marty. I love our sessions and hearing stories about his time in the navy, sailing on ships and getting tattooed at ports all over the world! What a life Marty has had. Can’t wait to start the next project and bring his ideas to life again.
Thanks for everything mate! See you in October. Im really proud of this tattoo and hope you guys like it!

Fifteen years ago, someone captured this little piece of my life. Watching it now, I feel proud of how far I’ve come and grateful that I still recognise the person talking.

Tattooing has taken me from England to Canada and given me more than I could have imagined. My work has grown, I’ve learned a lot and my location has changed, but my approach hasn’t. I still want to make something personal for the person in front of me, give it everything I have and keep finding ways to do it better.

To every client who has trusted me with their skin, every artist who has shared their knowledge, every friend and family member who has believed in me, and everyone who has followed, shared or supported my work: thank you. You’ve all helped make this life possible.

I know that in another 15 years, I’ll still love tattooing just as much as I do today. Probably more.

Here’s the full A Tattoo Life film. A reminder of where I was, how far I’ve come and why I still love doing this.

Alright, dream with me for a sec. What if we brought seven of the best tattoo artists on the planet to Six and Grace for one massive walk-in day? Who would you want to see? Drop your picks in the comments. If the names are right, we might just make it happen. taken in Downtown East Village, Calgary by @antonyflemming

The Keeper of Keys.

A closer look at this raven chest piece, from the feathers to the little gold keys. Which detail catches your eye first?

This has got to be one of my favourite projects to date. Thank you to Dayne for the trust with such an important piece. Every time I saw your name in my calendar I always knew it was going to be a good day! I hope you enjoy this tattoo as much as I did making it.
