Today we went to Almada and ended up on the wrong ferry which led us on a taxi ride along the very narrow streets with an amazingly accommodating driver. It felt like a James Bond movie, side mirrors flipped up and traversing the alleys that are roads….eeeccck. We had lunch with a view, took the lift with a view, strolled the river and made our way to the Cristo Rei with 360 degrees views of Lisbon and meandered through the old town with the dinkiest houses on our way to the ferry. by @antsfyall

Yesterday we drove along the Maginal to Guincho. Packed beaches along the glorious coast in 32 degree weather. We lunched with a sea view. by @antsfyall

Yesterday was an absolute treat to explore the Gubemkian Museum and see the variety of shops over 7 floor on the way..coming down with a cold 😝 by @antsfyall

Today - Lisbon you beauty. We took different paths, walked the treacherous sidewalks (for me today 🥹), browsed the markets and gorgeous shop interiors, braved the step uphills and downhills, savoured, took a tram ride and ended with a sundowner at the rivers edge 🩷 by @antsfyall

Day after yesterday 🙃 Belem required another visit in a more temperate climate to see the Monastery and of course this included Pasteis de Belem and then back to Cascais. by @antsfyall

Day 8 - Belem you beauty. You can never eat too many pasteis da nata and this one was a memorable first. We nearly expired from the heat but nothing some aircon and a Super Bock can’t fix. by @antsfyall

Day 7 - Ericera, so quaint and beautiful, just gorgeous. I love doors, something special about the secrets and stories thy hold. So special to be shown around by our generous friends. Thank goodness the walking was minimal today, it was hot hot 🥵 by @antsfyall
