𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: I want to show that you don’t have to come from a strong background to be great. That’s my uncle encouraging me, and that’s a younger version of me drawing on an envelope.

"My retwist" (2025) Art by: Antwan Groves
.
𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲: 72"H x 108"W / 6ft x 9ft
𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮: @antwangroves
𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: For Sale 🟢
.
𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: This painting is about my loctician and me while she’s doing my hair. I added the crack in the wall to show that everything isn’t perfect, and that’s okay. The tag left on the side, even though most people take it off, represents something that might seem cheap or used but still has value. The half-drunk drink on the shelf adds to the real, unfiltered feeling of the moment.

Overall, the piece embraces imperfections while still showing joy and good energy. It reflects real parts of my life and moments that may relate to others too.

"Game with the clown" (2026) Art by: Antwan Groves
.
𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲: 6ft X 9ft
𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮: @antwangroves
𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: For Sale 🟢
.
𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: My first mastercopy of Norman Rockwell's "Checkers (Game with Circus Clown), created by Norman Rockwell in 1928 for the Ladies' Home Journal". I started making this to study full body scale composition for future paintings as a large scale painter.
