Last night was a night that I will forever keep locked in the most sacred part of my heart. After being a massive fan of Bruno Mars since day one, I finally fulfilled the dream of seeing him live in concert.

This man is the epitome of a performer. The artistry and brilliance speaks for itself and to witness it in the flesh was something that all of these years of loving and supporting him proved exactly why.

The opening acts, DJ PeeWee and Leon Thomas were obvious -perfect- choices as well. Anderson Paak and Leon Thomas’ brilliant talents were displayed so wonderfully. If I was a fan before, I am now a super fan. INCREDIBLE!

Thank you, Kings for giving us a night that we will never forget. When The Romantic Tour hits your city, GO! 🌹🖤

40 years ago, God saw fit to grace me with the ultimate blessing: life.

40 is such a monumental year and I am beyond thankful to be alive and well to say I am still here, despite the many trials and
tribulations that I have faced.

This year has already been one of the biggest years of my entire life, as I made the decision to start completely over in a new city
and to begin curating the life I have always wanted for myself.

I am thankful for my life, for my blessings, for my family and dearest friends who have stood by me and helped me to reach this milestone.

Thank you to everyone in advance for taking a moment out of your own day to send blessings and well-wishes to me today.

To God be the glory forever and ever.

The ‘Michael’ movie premiere was last night and there was absolutely -no- way I wasn’t going to be there for it.

When I tell y’all, you need to make it a mission to go and see this film, I MEAN IT!

Jaafar Jackson didn’t just embody his Uncle Mike, he BECAME him.

Ever since I was introduced to Selena in 1997 at 11 years old, her beautiful spirit and her timeless music took a hold of my heart and it has remained tight.

Seeing all of these magnificent places in person after decades of viewing them online and in the Selena movie was jaw-dropping. I’m still speechless.

Not only did I experience the museum with all of her iconic outfits and personal belongings, but I also got the rare opportunity of meeting both her parents, Abraham and Marcella Quintanilla. To be able to tell them how their beloved daughter has impacted my life was enough to make me happy for the rest of my life. They were so loving and inviting.

Visiting Selena’s final resting place shook me to my core. Walking up to that gorgeous gravesite had me absolutely stunned and I was so overcome with emotion. The mere fact that her grave keeper was there at that exact moment and allowed me to have the flowers I purchased for her placed directly on her tombstone is something so rare and so magical that it could only be Selena herself overseeing that moment.

I will cherish this trip for as long as I live. Selena forever! 🌹 ♥️

39 AND FINE! To God be -all- the glory for His favor to allow me to see this age.

I went through a lot last year and I swore to myself that I would not take life for granted and I would do more to step outside of my comfort zone and do things that I always wanted to do.

I vowed to never let fear or opinions of others alter my life choices or hold me back again. I spent many years of my life afraid to experience and live, but I am staying true to my vow with God.

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to wish me a “happy birthday” and for thinking of me.

I can’t wait to see what this year ahead has for me.

Weekend Dump | Had the loveliest night out with my beautiful family to celebrate my nephew, @sir_gorillab’s surprise 25th birthday dinner at Raleigh’s Flavor Hills.

When they say “they grow up right in front of your eyes before you know it”, it is the TRUTH! 25 whole years have passed just like *that*, so treasure every single moment.

I am so grateful to God for favoring me enough to bless me with best friends like @whatz.betta_than_ah.virgo and @daqualah. Life is very hard and we all need true friends to help us through. I was blessed enough to have two.

After all of the trials and health issues I faced in 2024, there were many days that I thought I would never get to experience moments like these again. God said “NOPE! Your journey is not yet over.” And I listened.

To Daqualah and Trenika, thank you for taking this journey with me and for never leaving my side through it all. Only God knows why he places certain people in our lives and you two are stuck with me -forever-.

Here’s to more trips, bountiful blessings and more moments like these.

To Adele and the entire team responsible for bringing ‘Weekends With Adele’ to life, thank you.

Thank you for the memories that I will hold near and dear in my heart for as long as I live. Thank you for bringing some of the most beautiful, loving, caring and kind friends into my life. Thank you for saving my life.

That August day when I was able to score my first ticket to see the show on March 18th, 2023, my life completely changed. I now had a reason to live. I had something to live for. It is because of that one ticket, that I am still here today to express my gratitude for the show’s existence.

To Adele, not only have your music and lyrics saved me time and time again, so has your grace. Your elegance. Your humanity. Thank you for absolutely everything, babes. I am forever changed because of you.

To the wonderful friends I have made over the past two years, thank you all for being such beautiful outlets and vessels to lean on every weekend. It is because of y’all, that I know there is a God who sends down angels to place into our lives.

As we say goodbye to this iconic show, let us all remember just how special each weekend was. Each memory that is sketched in the hearts of thousands worldwide.
