Short video of our trip to southeast Mexican jungle. 🌮🌿. by @anuartreks
There’s no other mountain like Alpamayo. It takes 5/6 days (Llamacorral, Base Camp, Morrena and High Camp) and the views every single moment are insane. Yes, it takes lots of preparation and ice climbing knowledge to climb it but it’s a lifetime adventure. You must remember to always respect the mountain, the weather was freezing cold, the days where exhausting but the company was warm and fun. by @anuartreks
Ulta is a very new mountain in terms of iceclimbing. It’s been around three to four years since people started climbing it. We woke up at 2am, drove for a few hours, then we hit morrena, glacier afterwards and finally two ice vertical walls to hit the summit at around 11am. Thrilling, no crowds and we were back in town around 5pm Views from Huascaran and Cancaraga Lagoon make it even more stunning. #peru #ulta #iceclimbing #andes by @anuartreks
Churup Lagoon was a highlight of Peru’s Cordillera Blanca. The trek takes about 5 hours round trip (depending on your speed) and its a bit challenging due to some bit of vertical section where you need the help of a rope to climb some rocks. It’s definitely a must wether you are aclimatizing for some other mountain or just looking for a hard trek. You’ll meet many young internationals along the road and if you feel with enough energy, you can climb to the second lagoon up some rocks (2 hour round trip). #churup #huaraz #peru #mountains #lagoon by @anuartreks
It’s not only struggle, we also have fun while climbing #mountains #andes #peru #trend by @anuartreks
Even if it’s for a short drive, you’ll see all different types of landscape and weather will constantly change through the day. #iceland #roadtrip #drive #landscape by @anuartreks
Why will it always escalate so quick #transition #mountains #peru #iceclimbing by @anuartreks
The only transition you need in the mountains đŸ“č @alegoga92 #mountains #travel #nature #transition by @anuartreks
Vatnajokull (first picture) is Europe’s largest glacier mass, its impressive how fragmentation from this glacier leaves stunning views on jokulsarlon lagoon and the diamond beach. (Fourth and fifth picture). Katla, on the other side (second and third picture) is one of Iceland’s most active and highly dangerous volcanoes. It frequently erupts every 50-100 years (last major eruption 1918) and it’s covered by a very thick ice layer on top of it so you can’t spot its crater. If a major eruption occurs, great part of this ice would melt within 1 - 2 hours leading to catastrophic floods especially on Vik town. We stayed two nights at Vik and even explored Katlas Ice caves without knowing any of this high risk possibility. There are several dirt walls surrounding Vik to slow down the lava if a major eruption occurred. Such an interesting place. #katla #icecave #iceland #jokulsarlon #diamondbeach by @anuartreks
Skogafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Gljufrabui and Gulfoss. Most majestic waterfalls we saw in all Iceland. Bet there are so many more #skogafoss #slejalandsfoss #gljĂșfrabĂși #gulfoss #iceland by @anuartreks
