1. I do hiking and camping trips mainly in Finland, also in winter conditions. My dream destinations are in the mountains, but most often I get to hike in the Finnish Lapland.

2. I am very afraid of heights, but I frequently challenge myself by taking on hiking routes that require at least some scrambling and even easy climbing. I have climbed mountains in Norway, Italy, Germany, and Czech Republic to mention a few. I don't own or use climbing equipment.

3. I love trail running, especially on (mountainous) trails with lots of vertical metres and an endurance aspect.

4. I often go hiking and camping solo. My destinations are usually such that I rarely come across other hikers, even though I love to run into other adventurers by the campfire.

5. I work in IT, but I am also an entrepreneur and a devoted endurance runner. My days are always full but I feel I have a purpose in life.

Karhunulkki in Rovaniemi, Lapland, is a splendid location for a huge array of boulder problems with varying degrees of difficulty. In my opinion it's top notch as far as bouldering locations go!

I can honestly say that these days I am a fan of both outdoor and indoor workouts and they both have their place in my life. Do you prefer one or the other?

One of my deepest wishes is that I could live close to mountains and be able to climb them every day or take my runs to mountain trails. However, I wouldn't want to sacrifice time with my loved ones for some of the more selfish reasons (or personal ambitions or passions), so here we are, living in Southern Finland. I have been so lucky and blessed to have had the chance to spend a lot of time in Lapland in the recent years ✅️

What is your biggest dream and have you had to compromise to pursue it?

Honestly, the only thing I miss when living in Finland are the mountains, and Finland is known more for its dense forests and less for scenic lookouts. 🤍

Autumn greetings! It's been much quieter than I'd hoped and I've spent a lot of time recovering at home, but I've still had the joy of going on some excursions/outings, in Lapland, in Tallinn and in Southern Finland as well 🫶🏻

I have spent precious moments with my loved ones and even glammed up on a few occasions 🤍
