you want the little street with the cute cafes, the pretty boutiques.

you love the hunt, the discovery, that really special piece that you can take home and say: thanks, i got it in barcelona ☺️

that’s exactly why we created anzi, so you could find a beautiful selection of unique and original things.

we search out local designers. we look for small brands that are making things you won´t find at home.

so you can find that special something that makes you happy every day.

where are we? so glad you asked!

we’re on baixada de viladecols (I know, it’s a long name but hey) in front of the roman wall.

you’ll find our shop and loads of indie designers and the coolest vintage boutiques. and a pretty piazza too.

stop by, check us out and have a drink on the square. it’s the best little place around. believe me, you’ll love it

We fell in love with this bag for its retro personality.

It felt so Kate Moss in the 80s.

The suede was so soft, the bag surprisingly lightweight (the leathers are sourced in Italy from the finest tanners).

But our customers kept mentioning how they could use it for their laptop.

They could take it to the office, a cafe or a coworking space and everything would fit.

And that was our lightbulb moment: not only was it beautifully simple, it was delightfully practical.

And that’s a win-win ☺️🥂 taken in ANZI Barcelona by @anzibarcelona

Many years ago I was living in Milan with my Italian boyfriend.

My future mother-in-law asked me if I wanted a Louis Vuitton bag and while I didn’t want to seem ungrateful, I told her no.

Because I just couldn’t see myself carrying a bag covered with someone’s initials.

Initials that are immediately associated with luxury.

Nothing against it, it just wasn’t me.

I’m a simple girl, I like simple things.

I like quality, I like creativity but designer names just never did much for me.

And that’s why we created anzi.

Well made, fun designs for the woman who can speak for herself.

5 reasons why life is good:

1. It’s my shop so I get to search for all the cool and unique things that my customers love (the best part of my job).

2. After more than 15 years on this beautiful street in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter I still love it (but that’s me).

3. I get to look at a beautiful Roman wall every day and listen to the musicians in the square below.

4. Wonderful people from all over the world find our shop and take home something special. That makes it all worthwhile.

5. Despite the city’s flaws it’s still an incredibly relaxed city to live in. And just a ten minute walk to the beach 🌴
