Why we built AO1 Heals.

Most of us were never taught how to understand what we’re feeling, and the system we’re handed isn’t perfect. So a lot of us piece it together on our own.

AO1 is built around two questions: what am I experiencing, and what do I do now. Voice Kits and our four companions are two ways to work through them, alongside your own support.

Take the quick quiz. Link in bio.

Meet KAI, one of our four companions.

KAI is for follow-through and momentum. You bring something you want to learn, practice, get better at, start, or finally put into action, and it helps you work out what that takes from where you are now. You don’t need to know every step first.

Today’s reminder was “I don’t need certainty to move,” and KAI starts from the same place. This is its intro as the app looks right now. We’re still building, and it’s getting closer. Companions are in an invitation-only Founding Beta.

KAI’s first question is the one worth sitting with: what’s your how today? Tell me below.

Not sure where to start? The assessment shows your companion match and your top Voice Kit matches. It’s linked in bio.

It’s the first week of a new month, and a lot of us are waiting to feel sure before we start anything.

Sure rarely arrives first. You can take the next step with what you know today and adjust as you learn more.

What’s one thing you could start this week without being certain? Tell me below, and save this for the next time you’re waiting to feel sure.

I told MIA it’s the first of the month and asked how to approach November.

Before handing me a framework, it asked me a question: what’s pulling at you most right now? That’s the part I keep thinking about. Knowing what you want from the month comes before the plan.

MIA is one of our four companions, in an invitation-only Founding Beta. AO1 gives you educational guidance for the moments when you’re not sure what’s happening or what to do next, so you can understand it and handle it with more confidence. It works alongside the support you already have.

Before you ask “Now what?” Know what.

What’s pulling at you most as you look at November? Tell me below. The assessment is linked in bio.

Wanting something different doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful for what you had.

You can honor the old chapter and still want a new one. Wanting is allowed to come before the plan.

What’s something new you’ve been afraid to want out loud? Tell me below, and save this for the days you talk yourself out of it.

We’re told closure comes with an apology, an explanation, a conversation that finally makes sense of it.

Most of the time that conversation never comes. The apology might have made it easier, but without it you still have a way out. You’re allowed to close it yourself.

What would change if you stopped waiting for it? Tell me below, and send this to someone who’s still waiting on an apology.

Waiting for everyone to be okay with a boundary can mean you never set it.

A boundary is valid because you set it, not because everyone approved. People can be disappointed and the boundary can still stand.

Which boundary have you been waiting for permission to keep? Tell me below, and save this for the next time someone pushes.

You’ve read the reviews, asked three people, and made the list twice. And you still haven’t decided.

More thinking doesn’t always bring more certainty. Often it just brings more thinking. At some point, what you have is enough to choose with.

What’s the decision you keep circling? Tell me below, and save this for the next time you open the same tab again.

Most of us wait for the sign. A feeling of readiness. The old chapter to make sense first.

The new one usually starts earlier and messier than anyone would choose, and it counts anyway. One small step is still a step.

What have you been postponing until you feel ready? Tell me below, and save this for the day you need to begin.

Waiting for an answer from someone who’s gone quiet can keep a door propped open for months.

Their silence says something about them. It doesn’t have to decide when your story ends. You can close it from your side, whether or not they ever say a word.

What are you still waiting to hear? Tell me below, and save this for the next time you reach for the old messages.

Caring about someone and changing your answer are two different things.

You can hear that they’re disappointed, say you understand, and still keep the no. Their reaction deserves your attention. It doesn’t automatically get to rewrite your decision.

What’s an answer you’ve been tempted to take back? Tell me below, and save this for the next time someone pushes.

Most days our walks happen on the mountain or at the park by our house. Today we joined a walk to support a cause we believe in, and it will always beat starting the day any other way.

Grateful to everyone who showed up this morning, and to the families who carry this every day.

What’s a cause you’d get up early to walk for? Tell me below.
