Deadline: November 15th, 2026

Award: $1,500 | One Recipient

The Ambition Scholarship recognizes an African American undergraduate student who demonstrates ambition through leadership, perseverance, community involvement, academic commitment, and a clear vision for their future.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate college student
• Identify as African American
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrate involvement through campus, community, employment, entrepreneurship, leadership, or service
• Demonstrate financial need

Who would’ve thought that doing hair in Kentucky would lead me here? 🤍

Five years ago, an idea was born, rooted in creating spaces where black girls could feel seen, celebrated, confident, & loved.

Today, that idea has grown into a nonprofit that has mentored so many young women across both my home and college town.

For this five-year celebration, I’m surrounded by the girls who are now helping me carry this vision with me. This is my 26’-27’ Executive Board at the University of Louisville, the 5th board that we have had.

I’m so grateful for every girl we’ve served, every person who has supported us, and everyone who has helped bring this vision to life.
