A feeling that cannot be explained. A total moment suspended in time. RÜFÜS DU SOL’s music signify’s love, heartbreak, loneliness, but it also fits the solo life in personal freedom and the journey of self-discovery. Their music got me through some of the most challenging times of my life and being on this journey, continues to hold a very special place in my heart, body, mind, and soul. I’m glad to have been able to experience them irl and would do it all over again in a heart beat!

I’m doing this again. For anyone who makes comments about the kind of pics I post, and that I must be posting them for attention, I can’t tell you how more wrong you could be. As someone who used to look like this, I can tell you for years I felt ashamed of myself and uncomfortable in my own skin. Having the confidence to not only post pics of myself, but having the courage to post my body on a platform designed for popularity and especially hate comments, has taken tremendous steps in helping me accept myself 100%. Whether positive or negative, I could care less about what anyone says or thinks because for me …I have surpassed all the years of self hatred and depression I have allowed myself to suffer for believing that as a fat person, I didn’t deserve to share the same space with “pretty” people. Whatever a pretty person even is. 🤍
