POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Most workshops teach you to be someone else.
Dance their steps. Feel their feelings. Carry their story.

DREAMSCAPE is about who YOU are.
* 25 hours of character work, world-building & being seen
* Open to dance, aerial, singing & acting
* Live performances: Sept 3 & 5 at Harvelle’s
📌 Apply by July 27 | Full details below

Most creative spaces ask us to fit into a mold. We’re taught to learn someone else’s choreography, embody someone else’s vision, and answer to someone else’s why.
DREAMSCAPE was built to be different.
We aren’t looking for perfection, and we aren’t here to make carbon copies. We’re genuinely curious about you—the stories you carry, the raw way you move, and the truth you bring into a room.
Over 25 hours, we’re going to build a world together through character work, movement, and authentic collaboration. The live show isn’t a pre-written template; it’s shaped entirely around the real people standing in the space.

Oh~
And did we mention we are playing within dreamscape of the 7 deadly sins??
We are irreverent, empathetic, unapologetic.

✨ The Details:
* Who: Dancers, aerialists, singers, actors, and multidisciplinary artists.
* Workshop: Staggered weekends + Mondays in August.
* Shows: Sept 3 & 5 at Harvelle’s Santa Monica.
* Apply By: July 27.

Many dance workshops teach you to be/mimic someone else ~ their moves, their emotions, their why… In our workshop we are interested in YOU!
Growing you as an artist with something to say from within your magical human form. 🌹
This creation lab is designed for performers who want to push past the boundaries of merely learning physical steps to enhanced character & world building.
We believe in the authenticity of your story and the power of that story being witnessed.
Performances are shaped to the artists who are chosen for the Dreamscape…

To those of you with tickets YAY! A huge, thank you to all my friends who have supported me and the entire show. We are hoping it becomes "a thing" so we can perform more often. Definitely one of the most fun experiences of my life and would not be possible without the daringly creative minds and talent of
@lisa_eaton_ and @aorange 🪄 ⭐️ 🤩 Your trust, bravery and space holding is unmatched. Thank YOU.

In light of our current world events, I’ve been 🧠 a lot on how we conform to the expectations of society and how we don’t.

▪️How this shapes us as humans and as artists.

To pursue this idea of NON conformity I’m offering a workshop.
Limited to 8 participants.
Each dancer will explore their own shadow self that rebels against conformity.
The workshop will culminate in individual short videos. Each participant starring in their own NON conformity and witnessed.

The workshop is directed/choreographed by Lisa Eaton
shadow self assistant @aorange
choreography assisted by @moves.by.maddy._ creative film direction by @victorinsandiego and his incredible crew.

This workshop is open to all level dancers, and does not have apparatus work.
The workshop will close enrollment at 8 participants.

Signup via link @barred.dance or DM me to save your spot.
