Kevlar Vest Mod

This particular figure came with a kevlar vest that had plenty of gear on the sides which made the arms stick out and made it hard to pose the figure certain ways. I ended up cutting the sides and straps and added my own made out of ribbons to reduce the bulk of the vest. Added a tube and a wire for the ear piece to replace the ones that were cut off the mold. Turned out alright, I at least wanted one of these guys to have a light and slim loadout rather than its stock loadout. I still love how the original looks and will keep one of them as is (the one at the beginning lol). Let me know what y’all think!

Heavy Trooper
401st Coruscant Guard

This custom took YEARS to finish. It was basically left ready for assembly, but I never bothered to finish it until today. The reason why is because I absolutely dreaded painting the backpack white and putting fabric on it and all. To this day I have not touched the backpack, so instead I opted to just assemble the rest of him and call it a day. What do you all think? Haha

This custom marks the end of an era. I’m one of those customizers from the old days back in 2016-17ish, back when making customs meant cutting up figures to get parts for customs. It wasn’t like now days when 3D kits are readily available and all you need to do is adapt the base body to it. Back then you either sculpted your parts or cut up other figs. This custom required some parts that I replicated and other parts that I sculpted, and it will probably be my last custom that will go through this particular process, or at least exclusively using those methods. Here’s to new beginnings lol.

Commander Bacara

Finally got around to finishing another VC269 custom using a Commander Bacara kit by @audes_workshop ! I’m loving it! It was surprisingly hard to fit the chest plate/shoulder assembly all together as I had to tweak the position of it until it looked good. Bacara seems like a simple custom, but surprisingly still takes a while to make because of the weathering and assembly pieces. I love how it turned out, especially the helmet, the kama and kama straps! I really wish I could post this guy on November 10th since these guys are basically the Star Wars USMC, but couldn’t make the deadline— oh well.

Let me know what you all think of this custom! My phone camera doesn’t capture the best photos, but good news is that I’ll finally be upgrading to a new phone soon so quality should hopefully go up. If it doesn’t, that just means I suck at taking pics which I’m sure I do 😭

I haven’t customized anything new recently, but wanted to keep the page more or less active so here’s a little photo I took while playing around with the new clone mold. I included the unedited shot and a few other angles shots as well haha. I really wish I was better at creating scenes but I can only do so much in my desk. Some day I’ll get into making dios and will make cooler scenes than this lol. As for the choice of figures I used, idk these were what I had in my desk so it is what it is lmao. More customs coming soon. Hope y’all enjoy!

RotS Phase 2 Clone Trooper

Been super busy lately so I haven’t worked on anything in a while. So I figured I’d post this just to buffer in the mean time. Its an VC269 Clone with a @audes_workshop P2 clone helmet, D6/Vanguard Scatter Gun and a opened left hand from one of his clone hands set. Only the base paint has been placed on all of those pieces, as I still haven’t figured out what clone I should make with this guy. What do you guys think I should make with this one? So many to make and yet I can’t decide on a single one haha. Anyways, hopefully more customs coming soon!

Commander Grey (Early-Mid War)

I’ve shown late war Commander Grey, and now here is his early-mid war set up. Personally, I think he looks like a beast in this version, but I also still love his late war style which makes him look more light and agile. Still, his mid war style just makes him look like a fookin tank! He was a lot more beefed out on gear and actually wore a kama, which is something I haven’t seen many notice! This is my first time putting a kama on the new mold and it actually proved to be quite difficult to attach it under the front belt pouches. It ripped out initially with a little leg movement, but its held up the second time around. I’ll have to figure something out with it as it wasn’t as easy as putting kamas on other molds.

I want to thank @audes_workshop for this kit! Back in July I mentioned Grey was my favorite commander and he went about to making the most complete Commander Grey kit in the market to this day! This kit is more on the difficult side and there are many small parts to paint and glue perfectly, but if you’re up for a challenge, I highly suggest picking one up! Commander Grey is such a bad ass character!! Anyways, let me know what you all think, and have a great weekend!

Commander Grey (Late War)

I finally got around to making a custom with a regular phase 2 helmet from @audes_workshop and man it was SO easy to paint. Normally the brow is soo difficult to paint, but this one went on with no major mess ups! This kit was entirely made by him, and I can’t recommend his stuff enough, its just the best to work with in 3.75”.

Anyways, this is Commander Grey in his late war set up as seen in the Kanan comics, which is honestly how almost everyone remembers him by. Captain Grey doesn’t exist in my books, there’s no such thing as a green version of him. This is the one and only Grey, and if anyone says otherwise, they are out of their minds! Easily one of my top 3 favorite clone commanders, the drip is just unmatched, even Cody would struggle against him.

Hey all, here’s a custom I made over the weekend! Not only that, but this is the ARC Trooper custom that I will be giving away to all my followers that have supported my raffles in the past, but have yet to win one. I know they’re raffles and there’s no guarantees, but I feel bad every time a draw happens as I wish I everyone could win it. So I want to give everyone that hasn’t won one yet another shot free of charge!

Since I am close to 4k followers at last, I figured its time I do my first giveaway! I’ve never done one before since I’m not really hurting for having a huge follower count. Republic Clone Commando

I have been dying to post this custom. Its a plain blank clone commando, but it’s what I’ve wanted for SO LONG! I could have painted a TRU Commando a long time ago, but I wanted something better!

This custom was built on a VC45 Phase 1 Clone. The commando kit is from @ernies_emporium3d and its very nice for the price! To get the best articulation, you need to heavily modify the base figure, but over all its not that hard. Even then, you won’t get a lot of range of motion in the arms since the chest armor is very wide, makes it hard to hold the weapon. Only way for him to shoot is from the hip or with one hand like Gregor lol. I took forever to build this guy because I lack so much motivation during the prep work, and that was a lot of effort to begin with, but the end product is worth the struggle lol. The visor was what I was most intimidated by, but it wasn’t so bad painting it. It definitely took some time, and I honestly don’t know how to reproduce it again since I forgot 😂 but I can always figure it out again. Anyways, let me know what you think and smash that mother loving like button 😂

I’ve had loads of fun messing around with Fordo, quite easily a fun project at the end of the day. I love how adaptable he can be to several environments, but I had to do something with him in the Coruscant ground levels. I’ll share his unedited pic in my story in a bit, I practically only cropped him out of his original background and added a purple filter to have him blend in better with his new background. Let me know what you all think!

More Fordo shots! Here showing the more memorable Fordo moments haha. I have one more shot that I want to share of Fordo that REALLY shows just how much photograpic potential this guy has. I actually discovered a new place where I can take pics of my figs that has better lighting to not blur details out so easily, and its my computer desk lol. I took one shot and decided to add a background to it because it looks so good! Can’t wait to show you all in a separate post next week, y’all are going to love it!
