Menstrual health is an important part of female adolescent health and participation. In a recent OT Practice article, Lilian Orengo, OTD, examines the role of OT in menstrual health management for adolescent girls with visual impairments.

“By increasing awareness and integrating this topic into practice and education, practitioners can better advocate for inclusive, holistic care that supports the whole person and promotes dignity, confidence, and meaningful participation” said Orengo.
