Happy indigenous people's day the twins and I enjoyed attending an indigenous ppls day event where they danced for our local community today in the orange circle in orange county - a lot of local cities have been trying to take away indigenous peoples day lets remind them we are still here ty @redboy.productions for putting this on was nice to see @baac_gx @beatsxblessings & uncle Mi'de 💖 by @apache_jewel

Chuckchansi was interesting.. very proud of twins for getting in Willow got 2nd & Tulie got 3rd for jr girls jingle / fancy combined.. at registration and their first contest their categories were seperated & sunday it was announced their last contest that they were actually a combined category.. 2 fancy shawl got in & 1 jingle .. and a LOT of little girls that traveled far in each category . It was advertised online , in registration , on their flyer and powwow schedule book as split categories & has been split previously.. after talking to tabulations sunday they said there would def be tiebreakers bc of the confusion of it being split but there was no tiebreakers when they were excused ; many families travel 5 hours plus for contesting for their kids I felt bad almost all jr girls jingle got zz and as u see from Saturday contest they were already stacked as it is .. Hopefully there is more transparency and organization in the future for the youth dancers ✨️ it was definitely tough and a lot of beautiful hardworking girls in each category . by @apache_jewel
