🇮🇳🪁 by @apassionforever

From the photos, June was:
1. Friends
2. Food
3. Fashion
4. Pretty skies

Under the surface, it actually was:
1. Friends and family, reuniting after months and years. Busy and far away friends coming back and bring me peace, love and blessings of their presence.
2. Food, that was all about reclaiming health, fortifying fibre and proteins, blending foreign cuisine concepts with our culture kitchen basics. Eg- Roti base pizza, wheat noodles with tempeh, herb garlic butter!
3. Fashion that came as picking good outfits and accessories, browsing online to put together good outfits, and reorganising Pinterest, YouTube and what not.
4. Pretty skies, which were just those, but also a sign from God that it was all gonna be okay.

June was a struggle, a constant self exploration of my truths, my patterns, my needs. It was so many highlights that would’ve gone amiss had I not began the month with creating a journal. In this journeys I came closer to myself, built a deeper relationship, edged back into spirituality and found comfort in solitude as much as in friendships and family.
It was also updating Instagram from my heart 💓

Some moments of note:
1. Fed a cow, felt happy
2. Honest conversations with mom
3. Going back to our cafe- @thesilentburr
4. Ekadashi bhandara
5. Shopping and hopping in MKT with @sonal_mahe
6. Bought a piece of clothing for myself independently for the first time.
7. Dev Dhruv music and Murthal. Whatta vibe.
8. Rosé and Girls night with bhabi
9. On the last day of the month, finding my fire again.
10. My brother bought me the perfume I had my eyes on, without me mentioning it
11. Off Campus and Harry Potter continue to be my comfort places
12. Wrote a short story, was surprised really :D

On to the next phase of the journey! by @apassionforever

May vibes ✨
This month happened in phases:
INI prep
INI
Post INI relaxation
Travel

May was mountains, coffees, sunsets, cooking. Building closer friendships. Cooking and trying new food. Good desserts. Coffee shop. Finding confidence in my body in new clothes. Food that included first biryani at home, pastas and grilled cheeses. Spontaneous bus trip. Joining a new fitness community. Audiobooks on the ride. Desserts from eclairs to tiramisu to standard kulfi 😂 I tried shopping on my own. Now my Pinterest is showing outfit photos. Braved all odds to visit a temple in the mountains, at reached Mata Rani in such a Bollywood moment of rain, Aarti and devotion. Wonderful month. New experiences ♥️

A month of endings, beginnings, renewal and regrowth ✨

Kasol - May ‘26

Impromptu trip? Yes.
One night I’m watching TV and 24 hours later I’m running behind a bus with a duffel bag. All thanks to @shreyajain0910 texting me “Do you want to come to Kasol abhi?”
12 hours and a lot of Harry Potter later, I wake up to the sun rising over mountains.
This was my first solo bus trip, and after the initial panic of actually catching the bus, it went smoothly.
I trekked around with confusing maps, saw the place in all its beauty on foot and once I was with my girls, it was brain off and chill on. After all these high stress months, this was much needed.
Kasol was beautiful; lovely river, far off snow capped peaks, the same main road that takes you everywhere and friends who make the experience worthwhile. And ofc- Maggi.
Dinners by the river, winding down evenings over conversation and comedy, no worries and troubles. Just being in the present. The last day realisation, a little introspection.
Kasol was like taking the breath I didn’t realise I was holding. New experiences, new friendships, uno with strangers, wine heartburn, sleeping, chilling, eating, laughing, bus rides with audiobooks, with friends- that make everything better ✨

PS- There was a hidden room behind a bookshelf 🤫

Bhilangna, Tehri- May ‘26

The trip was the most beautiful mountains, the warmest welcomes, skies that looked like God’s painted canvases and company that felt like laughter after forever.

Not in the photos:
1. A tour of BHPL- the construction and flow between mountains, supplying electricity to the national grid
2. Mom dad and group got to plant trees as a memory of our wonderful time there, thanks to the BHPL team!
3. Gangi- the first village; so high in the mountains that there’s no reception, no pollution. Only the greenest mountains, cutest kids, water operated automatic chakki, and a picnic spot with amazing apples and natural water!
4. Lots of long mafia nights and debate over UNO rules, Fanta and Coke imposters and Psych!
5. Dance around the bonfire 🔥 because why not
6. So much rain in the mountains that it transported me to a different realm.
7. Super comfy car rides with the open sunroof
8. Flowers. So many wonderful huge flowers.
9. Deeper friendships. Homely food.

Also in the photos:
1. Pahadi food
2. 500 year old temples and our luck
3. Pink sunset over mountains
4. Tehri dam and reservoir

Felt like God’s calling. And God’s embrace. God’s blessings. And God’s grace.
