Managed to put together a process reel on this very part from start to finish of the mural we’re painting. Its a black pepper plant if anyone’s wondering, among the many essence of Johor heritage elements. Enjoi!

That feeling you get after penat kabut then have no more damn to give on boleh ke tak or jadi tak jadi yet buat je then dia JADI BRUH even if its after a few tries still la BRUHHh. V2 with Process Shots 📹: @core__2
Some of my thoughts while painting this:

“Jangan biar ayam patuk rezeki” a phrase seen on a poster during my 2017 trip to Bandung. Still fond of it tho being an artist selalunya masih berjaga mencari. Kokok was just a signal that I had been on it sampai ke cerah dah haha

Talked about personal style/ stroke whilst not wanting to paint flowers anymore yet not knowing what to paint either. Then Acit did mentioned “hang lukih ah ayam”. I remember my response was just confused laughter. This was 2018, was painting for Hard Rock Desaru.

Tuah ayam dikaki, tuah manusia siapa tau.
Tho “we humans could actually increase the chances of our luck happening - Sliz, 2021 and that is by keeping at it. Again. And again and again and again. We got more than what a chicken got what.

Also thought of a joke about apa similarities orang dengan ayam and that is that dedua kena goreng or something idk idk ba dum tsk(?) Proceeded into thinking of my mom’s Ayam Masak Opor. Now if you dont know what that is, bro………………………………………………………………………………

Hi guys, its me again. It’s been awhile since i posted anything here and now im back with another art account. Ha ha So “Apayangfresh” has served me well as a lab for all of my experiments during my journey as an artist. In finding that “apa” from graphic designs, to street art to murals and graffiti.
-
I really could just post everything yet i do crave for that consistency in what im doing. And i’d very much like to keep things of murals and graffiti here. Then again, this year i made more art that couldnt be boxed in the same spot i feel. Was it really inconsistent or is it infinite? Cheea

So everyone, meet @afigforit (its still me btw, hi!) I know its oh so super sudden yet i hope to see you guys in a bit at @thisminecoffee for this small art show. With some (A LOT) help and support from my friends, we’re trying to just connect with anyone who loves art, and CUPS of coffee.
-
Speaking of support, this whole thing made happen also because of @mindxjohor in finding the importance of art in mental health awareness. Words alone aren’t enough for me to convey my gratitude and appreciation but thank you. THANK YOU.

Smalam Day 1 Jail Market berjalan dengan lancar.

Cuaca best, crowd best dan stage pun mantap. Big thanks to Datuk Bandar @mohd_noorazam_osman sudi datang walaupun dah almost midnight 😁

Kalau smalam korang dah nampak WIP, harinj dah siap graffitti utama.

Kita akan ade beberapa graffitti lain yg akan di 'tag' di tempat yg dah disediakan. Baru lah boleh berkarya dengan style 🤗

Kalau ade yg power nk 'tag' tu, ade lagi beberapa space kecik tp kena roger DM dulu, takut abis.

More exciting shows today 🤠

Jumpa sana di Jail Market V3!

Im sorry for my actions and reactions prior to how this whole feud started. This ego came from the same place as most of you too, and believe me when i say it came unwarranted.
-
I know I couldnt replace the memory thats attached to the original wall. Im sorry about that too. Tho it sure seems to me its very much alive in many. In terms of sheer size and the placement this high, this is the best i have to show for to try making it up in such short time.
-
Seni ni sure is subjective. I know tak semua akan suka, that is what I am fond of for Graffiti. Although if its coming from one of the kings who gave so much for the scene and i know of your artistic vision, I’d gladly listen. There’s surely could be many better designs that I had painted atas ni.
-
Look forward for tonight’s meet. Hope this atleast enough to set us off on the right foot this time. Ikhlas dari lubuk hati ku ini, again, i’m sorry.
-
Peace & Salam,
Fr
