I got interviewed! 📰🎥🎬

Journal & Topics Media Group recently sat down with me to talk about TAILYPO, my filmmaking journey, the childhood story that inspired the film, and how we brought it to life with a tiny crew entirely in my film studio basement. The articles out now in my BIO!

We created the world through practical effects, VFX, and a lot of experimentation. After premiering on HorrorHound TV, TAILYPO is now streaming free on YouTube.

The VFX behind the film: TAILYPO (2026) 🎥🎬

This reel gives a closer look at how the world of TAILYPO was created through VFX, 3D environments, compositing, greenscreen, virtual production, and practical effects integration.

Since the film was shot indoors, the process was building and transforming the environments to create the isolated Appalachian world seen in the final film.

OFFICIAL TAILYPO TRAILER 🎥🎬

Deep in the Appalachian mountains, a starving man took what wasn’t his.

And when night came… it came back to collect.

I’m so excited to finally share the official trailer for TAILYPO, a short 16 minute folk horror film inspired by the Appalachian tale that terrified me as a kid and stayed with me ever since.

Made with an insanely small team, a lot of love, and a lifelong obsession with creature features, cryptids, folklore, and the kind of horror stories that feel like they were whispered around a campfire.

Tailypo had its first official theatre screening! 🎥🎬

Seeing this film on a theater screen, with an audience reacting to it in real time, was such a surreal and special moment.

I’m incredibly grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response, and even more grateful for every person who helped bring this Appalachian cryptid horror film to life.

This project has been built with so much love, practical effects, visual effects, late nights, and a whole lot of belief from an amazing cast and crew 🖤

On to the next step for Tailypo. I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead for this film, this project, and everyone who is part of it.

She said yes :) 💍💕

Lucy and I met at the start of my junior year of college during a film shoot, and somehow—on the very same day—we completely fell for each other. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. She’s been part of every big moment in my life, so it only made sense that this one would be just us, in our own little world.
