The shipping speed was great and the packaging was very well done to protect the contents.

They look great, sound great and seem to be very well constructed. Conversations back and forth between me and Oliver were very good and helpful.

Thank you, John 😀

Through its uncompromising execution and attention to detail, this project shatters common misconceptions about high-end AV equipment and stands as a benchmark case study within the audiophile and home theater community.

🔹HOME CINEMA IN THE MANSARD ON APERION AUDIO SPEAKERS OF THE TOP‑OF‑THE‑LINE VERUS SERIES

This home theater project is a 5.2 home theater system with Aperion Audio Verus III series speakers.
=============================
🔹HOW IS YOUR ROOM SET UP?
ROOM:

-The area is approximately 592 sq ft (55 square meters).

This is a spacious, light-filled attic space. It was not originally ideal for a home theater. The project required the existing design to remain unaltered.
=============================
🔹What are your goals when you were looking for a new home theater system?

The attic was the only space available for a dedicated home theater. The design goal was to create a genuine cinematic atmosphere. Sloped ceilings and skylights posed significant challenges to the viewing and acoustical experience. Success required a layout that worked with the unique architecture. This transformed an unused corner into a private, cinematic sanctuary.

🔹WHY DID YOU CHOOSE APERION AUDIO?

Due to space constraints, I wanted a traditional speaker system. It needed to look great and sound excellent. I discovered Aperion Audio through a local dealer. I auditioned them in person. They were competitively priced compared to worse-sounding products. I decided they were the right choice for me.

🔹YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE APERION AUDIO SOUND?

Once installed, I couldn't wait to watch several movies. I was extremely satisfied with the results. I invited family and friends to experience the system. They loved it too. I am very pleased with the aesthetics and performance.@fobis.ru #aperionaudio #verusspeakers #homeaudio #CinemaLovers #HomeAudio #homecinema #HomeTheaterSystem by @aperionaudio

Today, we recommend some songs you can use to test the low-frequency extension of your headphones or speakers.

Ranging from 20Hz to 35Hz, these tracks can make ordinary speakers distort outright—they'll put the low-frequency extension of your current audio gear to the ultimate test.

✅No.8 British singer James Blake's "Limit to Your Love."
The track does hit a highly demanding, oscillating sub-bass ripple that spans 20 Hz to 30 Hz.

✅No.7 Massive Attack - "Angel"
Uses a punishing, deep electronic bass loop that holds a true 27 Hz threshold.

✅No.6 AWOLNATION - "Sail"
An industrial electronic alternative that drives an unrelenting, heavy 25 Hz sub-bass line throughout the track.

✅No.5 Childish Gambino - "3005"
Features a massive, sustained synth drop that plunges deep into the 22 Hz range.

✅No.4 Yosi Horikawa - "Letter"
From a Japanese musician, but layers an incredible, intentional 20–25 Hz sub-bass rumble under paper-crinkling foley.

✅No.3 "Why So Serious" from The Dark Knight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Its low-frequency extension reaches a minimum depth of 20 Hz.

✅No.2 Hans Zimmer – "Mountains" (Interstellar OST)
Its low-frequency extension reaches a minimum depth of 20 Hz.

✅No.1 Billie Eilish - "xanny"
A superb sub-bass test. The chorus purposely stresses the low-end, vibrating at a flat 20 Hz.

-Upon arrival, the room was already prepared. Having old DCM timeframe speakers I was going to sell, since they were unused for many years, I saw the AMT ST. WOW, along with the Yamaha sub I was approaching HIFi. Not there yet. I had heard of FLAC files, but my old Sony BRay could not play them off a USB stick. MP3 yes. So I researched and wound up buying a Audiolab D9. It has everything in one box for $1200. ( Shout out for HiFi Heaven A+). State of the art DAC, they are at this for 30+ years now, every kind of I/O connection you could want, a clean Pre-amp, can play off a USB stick, onboard hardware for upsampling (on or off), 5 filters, no EQ (not needed). I know you can buy a DAC player/streamer for 200-300 and they may be OK. Up to $1000 its much better. At 1200 the D9 is remarkable, sound is pure HiFi musicality.

Audiolab put a lot into this unit including a custom linear power supply, and it runs pretty warm/hot. My Adcom 550 amp may be a weak link. The Sony is used as a transport only, and can pass both CD's and Flac files via CoAx to the D9. So getting back to the AMT supertweets, they are incredible, still revolutionary many years after Dr. Heil invented them. Aperion has tamed the technology to refine it and make it musical. The first AMT tweets I heard 50 years ago were crazy sounding but not musical, too brash and edgy, well ugly even. If you want to upgrade your system and can afford them, just buy them, They are just that good. Hopefully your rig can give them a high fidelity signal to work with.

Thank you, RAYMOND😀

After learning that some super tweeters don't have the sensitivity to keep up with the horns on my Altec Lansing Model 19's .... These "HST" super tweeters DO have that sensitivity. These fit the gap at the high end roll off that we were looking for. I was even able to "de-tune" them a bit for that perfect fit. Would recommend them to anyone with horns like Altecs and Klipsch etc.

Many Thanks to Aperion for good communication and a great product.

Thank you, Peter 😀

The AMT super tweeters have added the extra treble extension I was looking for. They did require a bit of experimentation to get them to sound right. I might have been experiencing some comb filtering before finding the right placement. I’m not sure how they measure in room, but the system sounds great.

Thank you, Bill 😀

I always used a smaller sealed sub because mainly listen to jazz, classical, exc. I couldn’t believe the difference. Bass was very much more extended than I thought possible. Very musical and not bloated at all. Price is unbeatable and top notch customer service. Highly recommended！

Thank you, Carl 😀
